I still don't think it'll be GON. I think there are twists and turns again in this saga.

Went to bed on Friday, it was Dyche.

Went to bed on Saturday, it was Rohl.

Went to bed on Sunday, it was Wilder.

Went to bed on Monday, it was O'Neil.

Tonight?

Would you still have a job if you had overseen was has gone on at this Club over the past 4 years?

Nope, hence why the owner has to go along with the rest that are culpable :)

Rudkin is a symptom. Aiyawatt is the problem.

I agree in that Top not removing Rudkin is a failure.   But do you think a new Owner would likely retain Rudkin, given his charge sheet???

Bosses tend not to sack themselves.

I'd have to question Rohl's mental faculties if he escapes Chansiri's employment only to come to this cesspit of a club

Who he replaced was soon put out the door for far less:

“Leicester City director of football Terry Robinson has been sacked following the club's alarming slide down table.

Robinson was informed of the decision by chief executive Susan Whelan, with the Foxes having gone 11 games without a Premier League victory.

Leicester are rock-bottom of the Barclays Premier League following a run of eight defeats in nine games and Robinson has paid the price for that poor form.”

No they didn't at all. No one I know wanted him from day one and there was never any support for him at all.

That’s a tad extreme  , do you really think “never any” ?

So is it O’Neil then? Get Martin back as well just for the name bantz

Until it is announced we can continue to hope it won't happen. This may just be a futile act of denial, but I prefer denial to the grim reality of learning that Gary O'Neil has been appointed as our next manager.

Let's prise Neil Lennon away from Dumferline.  Him and Kingy.   Better managerial statistics than both Wilder and O'Neill.

I loved Lennon as a player, but he is not the right answer

It frightens me that I can't tell when someone is joking on here anymore.

It is worth pointing out, amidst all the hysteria, that the source is "only" Rob Dorsett and all he said was that Gary O'Neil was one of the front runners, alongside Wilder.

Percy said Wilder and O'Neil were on the shortlist.

Wilder is out of work, has multiple EFL promotions under his belt, is fairly tactically versatile, has a significantly higher career win percentage and is a Wasserman client.

The idea that it's a done deal that O'Neil is coming here is ridiculous, although I concede it's horrifying he's even a serious candidate.

Why should we get behind O’Neill or Wilder if they come in?

What have they done to warrant our support? Neither of them should be anywhere near a club of our size, they just aren’t at our level. They’re the type of managers who the likes of Norwich and Stoke should be after.

A lot of us aren’t stupid, we can see what’s going to happen a mile off if we appoint one of them. I knew as soon as Cooper was appointed we were getting relegated, so I didn’t support him once. I wanted him gone from day one because there was no hope of him doing well. If it’s Wilder or O’Neill I’ll think exactly the same. They aren’t good enough to manage us.

I was speaking last night to a fan of another club who said he reads this forum from time to time and thought that our fans decided they were down the moment Cooper was appointed and did everything they could to make sure that's what happened by turning on him instantly and creating a toxic atmosphere.

My argument was that while people could see it wasn't the right appointment, very few fans would say it was the single crucial factor in us going down, that the 'toxic' atmosphere was already building up because of the club's mismanagement and that, fans being fans, they did give him a chance, albeit not for long.

And then I read this post. And I just know that he's read this post too, and I bet I'm going to hear about it by the end of the day.

numerous failures at other championship clubs too

all due respect to GON and Wilder, rather have kingy than them too

but of course first choice is Rohl

and i think he probably still is for the club
