Relegated due to Rooney

 

They were in mid-table form over the time Muslic was in charge

 

Would be a risk of course but he has still done very well at Plymouth this season

Yeah, you missed Henry VIII managed them for a fair chunk of the season. This bloke has done really well since he's come in.

Musilic's record at Cercle Brugge was decent - 43% win rate and built them up from fighting relegation to  Conference League qualification.

 

Also I read he has a record for taking a chance on youth players (important for us moving forwards given likely PSR constraints) and he is a tactical manager (which would be a nice change). 

 

Possibly a risk but, when you compare him to Martin, Dyche, Rohl he seems a reasonable shout to me.

They were utterly dead a buried when he took over, and he turned them around. They didn’t finish bottom, and if he had come in earlier he might have saved them. 
 

Plus, they’re in a right old mess behind the scenes. He’s done a remarkable job even getting them going.

The more I hear of Muslic the more he is my choice. Unfortunately Rudkin will only think Plymouth is a gin not a city and football club so unlikely he has heard of Muslic.

Errrrr no the manager who inherited an absolute shitshow from Rooney but if he had been in charge all season would have had them around 12th.

My worry is that would be how Top and Rudkin view him as well, not sure they have the ability to look beyond the name, reputation, aura of a potential manager.

Hannes Wolf. 
Currently assistant manager of the German national team. Has also been under 18,19 and 20 coach. 
Managed briefly at Stuttgart, Hamburg and Genk with some success. 
Was sports director at Germany for young talent, training and development. Thanks Wikipedia.  
I don’t know a lot about him but sounds like someone we should be looking at. 
Previous experience with developing young players.

I wasn't too impressed with his Hamburg side. At Genk he fell short of expectations and lost more games than he won. Did an okay job at Leverkusen as caretaker at the end of the 20/21 season.

Not really someone I think would be a good appointment, he's much more suited to his current roles with the German NTs.

Thanks. As I said I don’t know a lot about him. It just looked like someone who had experience with young players. Ideally what we need.
