It’s 100% pointless dreaming of someone who hasn’t managed a or played in the prem or been an assistant to pep on one of his deciples, it’s not the way the banter jokers running our club work.

Hassenhutl ticks all the boxes for these clowns. Previous experience in this country, worked at Southampton and with Glover.
I’d rather have him instead of Dyche, Carsley and Martin.
But I’d rather have Fischer, Muslic or Rohl than Hassenhutl.

Dyche all day long should be no1 target. We know what we’re getting all the others are a massive gamble which we can’t be doing anymore.

Not sure I have seen his name mentioned but had to Muslic for me, despite Plymouth going down he has been superb since taking over in January from the absolute shit show Rooney left them in.

Manning at Bristol speaks very well, as do others. But looking at his record he has done a great job everywhere he has been.

Quite obviously overachieving, tactically flexible. I'd be up for that...an element of risk for sure but he's better than a lot of names mentioned.

Of Championship managers on an upward trajectory, Manning would be top of the tree over the likes of Rohl, Mousinho, Muslic.

If Bristol City don’t get promoted, he’d be near the top of the list for me. MK Dons, Oxford and now Bristol City all improved under him. At Bristol City he seems to have built a solid culture, of course helped by the foundations Nigel Pearson left.

Yes he prefers possession football which at times can be on the slow side, but in terms of possession stats like passing sequences, they sit in the middle of the tables.

They rank quite high for direct attacks in the Championship, which is becoming a key component in English football.

While even though they are not aggressive pressers, Bristol City rank quite well for high turnovers.

All of this really.

Tbf I like many was not a fan up to the last 2-3 months as his preferred style of football was mind numbingly boring.

However I have been pleasantly surprised how he has shown flexibility to adapt that style more recently, to become more direct and dynamic at times.

Still can't set a team up away from home for shit though....

Tom Cleverley sacked by Watford (usual Pozzo behaviour) and Ruben Selles about to be sacked by Hull too (Acun is also extremely trigger happy)

Not my first choices but they both overperformed with shit squads and would be vastly preferably choices to keeping Ruud on

If we’re having to pay Ruud off I really can’t see us getting anyone who’s at another club. It’ll be someone readily available.

That mistake cost us big time this season. Going down the same route again would be self-harming to the point of suicide.

I’m not saying it’s the right thing to do but we’ll be doing everything we can to cut costs.

Hopefully we've learned our lesson from the Cooper debacle. Trying to recruit another manager on the cheap would be an a daft move - if we need to pay compensation for our first choice candidate,  we should do it. Appointing the right manager is more important than any player transfer.

Someone I mentioned just before Bens tweet, didn't realise I was an influencer. :)

But has had a decent record everywhere.

Hull nearly got relegated after finishing 7th in what world is that over performing?

They have the 9th highest payroll and Watford the 10th

Depends what route they’re going for. Up and coming young managers like Rohl, Still and Muslic who do have some experience or the more experienced managers like Dyche, Fischer and Hassenhutl who are all readily available. Not suggesting I want Dyche but I can see us being interested.

Given Dyche's availability I suspect he'd have been brought in by now if the club were seriously interested in him.
