I mean just look at the amount of minutes Vardy has played, he should be on a good 1,000-1,250 less than that this season. Absolutely stupid.

Justin, Faes, Soumare and Ayew that high?!?!!

Has Winks actually been suspended and taken OUT of the Premier League registration?

GOAT

Vardy not on MLS discovery lists as Leicester exit looms

Nick Mashiter
BBC Sport football news reporter

Jamie Vardy is not on any Major League Soccer club's discovery list as attention turns to his next destination.

The former England striker will leave Leicester after 13 years when his contract expires at the end of the season, having scored 198 goals and won the Premier League with the Foxes.

But no club in the MLS currently has him on their discovery list, which gives them first refusal over a player should they want to join.

Chicago Fire had Neymar on their list - and held talks with the Brazil international's camp before he made an emotional return to Santo in January - while Inter Miami have Kevin de Bruyne on theirs.

A club may have up to five players on their discovery list at any time and can add or remove players.

Vardy enjoys a good relationship with Charlotte FC boss Dean Smith, who he worked with at Leicester, and Smith tried to sign him last year. Charlotte are currently top of the Eastern Conference.

Exactly.. the only way he goes there is for lucrative offer and increased earnings outside of football though surely.. tiktok, Disney etc he could rake it in without the need for a massive salary.. and set him up for further revenue after football

On a side note. Watching them now.. seeing the two Ryan's and Blake jumping for joy, seeing how much it means to them.. not just a financial investment, makes me dislike Top even more... apart from clutching that FA Cup he looks like he don't care.. good to see owners like that.

You realise that they’re all actors and they are ALWAYS on camera, right?

Hahahaha yes I realise that, but there is a difference between acting and being genuinely excited.. ask the missus, I've never seen a genuine reaction either don't worry

They aren't acting they're genuinely invested in that club (not just money wise). Does help with the revenue stream though I do get that

Not sure there's too much to read into it.

Hes too old and too ineffective whilst on an absurd wage.

I think its the right time for everyone for him to part ways.

Football fans are very emotional and this won’t be a popular opinion but it’s a fact.

I can't see Vardy in the EPL. I can't see Wrexham paying for him either. I think his best option would be to go to Rangers, Celtic to enjoy an easier game, maybe win a title and get Europe. If not, maybe MLS or a Belgian club.  I think he is finished at the top level for the big leagues.

After watching this season, what team in their right mind would pay 100k a week for him?

Genuinely hope it's an MLS or Saudi move. Can't bear the thought of him playing for another PL/EFL club

Nothing will ever take away what he's achieved here or dispute he's our greatest ever. But it will leave an ever so slightly bitter taste if he turned out for someone like Wrexham

Sky Sports saying he wants to stay in the PL or a top European league. No plans to drop to the Championship.

I'm just not sure, looking at the season he's had and his age, that any prem clubs are going to be willing to pay his wages.

He's still a fairly high profile name and he'd be a free transfer. He'd be worth having as a squad player if he's willing to drop his wages a bit.

I'd be going abroad if I was him and not just because I don't want to see him play for another English club.

I disagree a proven premier league striker that is used as impact sub and occasional rotation would still be effective and score goals at maybe a £5m signing fee and £100l per week but would be max £10m outlay. You won’t get many proven strikers for that low cost, it’s a no brainer to teams like Wolves, Everton, West Ham, Villa, Newcastle etc to secure a very good back up striker.

The strongest connection between Vardy and Charlotte FC is Steve Walsh..

Just going back to early in the thread - I agree we should have a statue. However, it's very easy to get a statue wrong (remember the Ronaldo statue in madeira airport (now removed). Therefore, I think King Power should draw up a short list of designs (once a reed at the end of season hopefulyl)  and put to all STH's and members.

I would like one with hand in air celebrating. A long link but this picture demonstrates:

Other ideas?

He would have taken most of Havertz’s chances for Arsenal this season and that was a lot! Would be a good acquisition for United next season in the free transfer mould of Henrik Larsson or for the old ‘uns among us Arthur Graham.

Just don’t ever want to see him against us, ever!

If he signs for Wednesday, do we all sing “your wife is a grass” to him when he comes back to KP? 😉

In all seriousness, if he does ‘come back’ and the club don’t create a dedicated JV montage for the big screens pre-match then heads should roll. Ten solid minutes of him, his goals, his rustling, our trophies ….. and maybe a long-faced Harry Kane just for good measure. Hundreds of us on here would live to design that.

Although he turns 39 in January, Vardy does not plan to call it a day and has been linked with a number of Championship clubsincluding Wrexham — who have secured promotion from League One — and Sheffield Wednesday whom he supports.

Sky Sports are reporting, however, that Vardy has no interest in playing in the second tier of English football as he believes he still has what it takes to play in the Premier League or one of Europe's top divisions.

The outlet goes on to explain that Vardy will only actively seek a new club once Leicester's season is over next month and his deal expires in June.

Depends on whether he wants 1 big pay day or to play in a competitive league.

Perez has gone to Spain and scored goals, might be an option to play top division football and good lifestyle. Won’t get the wages but might be an option. He’d love to score at Madrid or Barcelona and wind them up. Someone like Valencia might take him?

Same with Italy too.
