They literally do mate

They don’t. We are privately owned by the

Srivaddhanaprabha family, not the King Power group. This insulates us to a degree from KP’s troubles, but obviously any loss of wealth for the Srivaddhanaprabha family will hurt us.

Highly likely if KP is in the trouble being intimated then the family will want to cut their losses sell us and use the money to protect their future.

If he were to change his mind, somehow, he'd be best-suited for LCFC to be honest - via his ability to operate the team well on a tight budget, knows the league, has different formation ideas etc.

has he turned us down then ?

Likely wishful thinking..........what's the chances post Jul1 there is an announcement about the ownership position / bringing in a co-owner or selling a controlling stake to another Thai company?

He seems to change his mind on what he wants, from what have read/heard.

There was strong initial interest; admittedly, don't know if the club want to try to contact him again.

Think people are taking the Dyche rumours for granted, though.

I cannot see Rohl leaving one financial shit show for another one the latest news is not good at all.

We’re bad, but we’re nowhere near as bad as them. They’re not even paying the players…..

Taking them too seriously or not taking them seriously enough?

Was always likely to happen, given the circumstances, reckon there will be an agreement he can walk away on the provision that if he secures a new job within x months then Sheffield Wednesday will be entitled to a greatly reduced compensation payment.

Given the time ahead of him he has in his management career, without knowing him of course, but with the mess they are in and not getting paid etc, you’d imagine that maybe, this would be a case where for Rohl, just getting out and being free to go to a new club will be a win for him rather than haggling over compensation from Wednesday to him.

I’ve been told that he is in talks to cancel his contract.

I doubt he's looking at us thinking we're in a much better situation with potential psr penalties like points deductions, player embargo and rumoured major financial difficulties and an owner who has essentially been suffering from a mental breakdown over the last 3 years.

Kind of tallies with those two posts earlier in the thread that says he's coming here.

Yes I'm clutching at straws.

I think we have to Rohl with it

We have to take our time

we we have to say what we say

and not let anyone get in our way. . . .
