They sponsor us through The City Ground for £150m. (If the font for Ground is miniscule enough, I could live with having "The City" on our shirts).

 

The expense is deducted from PSR calcs as it is part of infrastucture spend.

However, the income is included.

 

And if there is any argument that the sponsorship is not market rate, we point to each other's deals.

Unfortunately they pay the highest and we need to go to the highest bidder to help with PSR. 

 

It's such a broken system, and I hate betting companies. But I can understand why they go for it. Just not one so obviously dodgy
