Is Sheringham the new Le Tissier or Simon Jordan spouting off how Rashford doesn't deserve a move to Barcelona

“If you assess where Marcus Rashford is at as a professional footballer, you strive as a youngster to get to the very top and play for clubs like Manchester United, and when you’re there, you appreciate it,” Sheringham told Sky Bet. “You don’t throw it away and say you want to leave.

“I find the whole episode very soul-destroying, compared to the way I was back in the day and how I strove to get the privilege to play for such a huge football club.

“To hear someone talking the way he is talking, saying he wants out – I didn’t like Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang doing that at Arsenal, I thought it was soul-destroying, and I hope Rashford doesn’t get the move that he’s hankering for."

Rashford is 27 no longer classed as a youngster he's done his time, It is Barcelona he is talking about going to & Man U are no longer the world force they once were...oooh & its Man U that are forcing him out.
I think Teddy needs to butt out.

"I'm an exciting centre-back. I'm a centre-back who likes to attack…” The words of Fulham's Calvin Bassey when asked to describe what he believes he is as a footballer… but but but Calvin I thought you wanted to be the next Carlos ?

Couldnt care less about Palace. Dont own multiple clubs simple as, same for Leicester if we were in europa league but couldn't play due to Leuven being their aswell we would just have to settle for conference league. Its rules Palace have not been cheated.

pretty short sighted that, Palace dont do any business at all with Textor owned club, plus Textor is/was in the process of selling his shares in Palace too,

theres more dodgy shite going on with Textor owned clubs and Marinakis owned clubs imo, where players are going between them for either lower fees or massively over the odds ones

as for the rules, well the rules are there if Palace got a sporting advantage and they didnt at all,

while teams like Chelsea, Vila etc got fines for over spending which gave them a sporting advantage, if Textor stays at Palace and has decisions that can impact then sure, but all signs point that hes leaving/left

he owns/owned 43% of palace, and i wouldnt even call that a multi club either, hes not majority shareholder,

so the rules arent frankly fit for purpose

He’s a weird one isn’t he (Rashford)

Hugely hugely overrated, and I get what Teddy is trying to say about United being the place young players should strive to be at. Teddy probably wanted the same as a youth player.

Yet Rashford goes to Villa and shows his ability there, almost instantaneously

Rashford is class when a contract is on the line.

From the outside it has seemed he hasn't been wanted by recent managers at Man Utd. I maybe wrong. But he goes to Villa under a manager who clearly wanted/wants him and then some form comes back.

Sometimes you need a change.

We have a Wolves museum built into the stadium that has the HoF displayed in it.

We've been promised a museum ever since this stadium opened in 2002. All of the exhibits are in storage, apparently.

One decent season and Man Utd bidding £70m. Madness.

They'll misuse him and wonder why he isn't the player they thought he'd be and end up on a loan spell at Valencia.

Out of contract next year.....

Sunderland already dropped £95m and still want several more signings so expect up to £150m, surely this will bite them in the end 🤷‍♂️

Well, will it? It either works, they stay up and they're set. Or it doesn't, they go down, sell one or two and use parachute to get up again (Like Ipswich will be attempting this season)

One thing for sure is they're signing a much better profile of player for their outlay than Ipswich did.

Also they're owned by the son of one of the richest families in the world.

Makes me laugh how Forest have the nerve to complain about Spurs with this kind of crap - yet another deal involving Textor

So Forest sign Brazilian international striker from Botafogo at £10 million and then sell a non international playing Brazilian who has suffered a horrific injury recently for £21 million  to Botafogo

Crystal palace should report them. See how they like it.

The level of arrogance from a club that had one good season is unbelievable. The owner is douche bag and their fans lap it up.

They are turning themselves into a very dislikeable team.
