Weapon in the Charlie Kirk assassination retrieved, a Mauser rifle.

One spent shell casing, three more rounds unused.

Talks of the shooter being trans and with Antifa affiliations. The hunt is still on.

I'm not going to open anything by the DM, is there a proper source for this?

This march in London on Saturday must be high alert now

Obviously hope not, but reckon there could be a bloodbath between the different cultures.

Crazy it’s been 24 years since the World Trade Centre attacks.

Can still vividly recall the day.

One of those big  ‘I remember where I was” events you never forget.

I’ve probably watched every documentary on 9/11 over the years and still think what happened that day was absolutely staggering.

proper source, please.

(On the general topic, it's obvious the bloke who took the shot had an axe to grind against Kirk, but whether that axe was personal, political or a mix is purely speculative at this time.)

The Wall Street Journal was the first to report that the cartridges were scrawled with slogans. It is generally regarded as a proper source. However until the suspect is caught and we know more about him, it’s probably best to avoid drawing many conclusions from it.

No disagreement there.

Those who espouse the right to bear arms must imagine they will be on the side of the protector, defending their family, or that the collateral damage is not them or their families. It's easy to justify the cost of allowing guns when you don't expect to have to bear that cost personally.  It turns out the fact that a lot of gun crime is gang / poverty related doesn't mean a white middle class conservative cannot also be a victim.

im actually very interested in hearing his wife’s comments on this whole issue, once she feels able to.

There's an image that had always has stuck to my mind of a victim standing on the edge of the plane impact zone, not too far from the top floors, who was calmly waving to a helicopter in an attempt to get rescued.

Imagine her sense of thought in that moment..

pro-transgender and anti-fascist slogans on the bullets of Kirk’s killer

Finding slogans on bullets is up there with finding passports amongst the molten steel of the twin towers

I was at work and a chap came back from lunch and said a plane had flown into The Trade Center. I said what a light aircraft as in an accident and he replied no an airliner. Completely shocked as the day went on

At least some of the rest of the world seems to be able to deal with such "strongmen". Shame more can't.

Did you query the slogans on bullets at the Minnesota church shooting a few weeks ago ?

They weren't on the bullets. They were reportedly on the casings.

Whether it's true that there were messages on them or not, people have written on casings in the past. Quick google search says that there are firms in America that will engrave messages on them for you which is just insane.

I think there are about 5 London football matches on the same day as well to add to it all. Madness
