Owynn on BBC RL said it’s his understanding (likely from the club) there is a release clause but higher than what has been mentioned online, it’s closer to £30m.

Not sure anyone pays that. I’d love to keep him so hopefully the club won’t buckle and accepted a lower offer.

Thought he looked very good (and happy) at today’s game.

thought that would be the case, and reports are it ends in 12 days

I thought he was mediocre at best today but I love him. With a bit of luck, we get Winks, Soumare and Ndidi out and get a midfield destroyer in and we could play El Khannouss and another box to box midfielder and cause real problems.

On today's showing I'd keep Winks over Skipp, but I don't suppose we can sell him for the kind of fee required.

I think it’s quiet telling that he’s played every game available when others linked away have “picked up niggles”

I have always had a sneaky feeling he would stay. Hes always looked one of the most committed to me - at no point have I thought he seemed checked out and ready for a move on.

Just think he would be a late in the window type transfer, especially if nobody stumps up a decent fee for Mads.

the rumours are his release clause is only active for another 10 days....so youd expect someone to come in before the 15th

im still saying RB Leipzig will come in for him when they get rid of Xavi Simons

I really hope he stays because without him we have absolutely zero in the middle of the park with any creativity/ability to beat a man/spot a pass which without a striker of any note currently, is absolutely critical to winning games this season.

Ah ok, you could well be right then.

Just like Mads, if he has to go, want him gone.

He doesn’t have to go and probably won’t.

Spurs could well be the club to watch here imo, especially if Maddison's injury is as bad as it appears.

They'll probably want more proven quality tbh.

If he stays, we really need him to work on attacking the box more. Especially if Ayew is the striker then we need advancing runners to get in behind. KDH became very good at it and stopped shooting from distance, if El Khannouss does the same to add to his very creative abilities then we will have a beast at this level.

Hopefully he stays and we get a better midfielder to replace Ndidi & Soumare.  He need someone with half a brain and a good attitude behind him to carry the ball which will allow him to be in better positions further up the pitch, instead of dropping deep constantly.

It looks like he almost goes blank when he gets into the box.
