I could see them wanting to loan him for a season. £5m loan fee and everyone is happy surely? They get madders cover, he gets prem football, we get to keep him and we get some funds to spend AND we don’t pay his wages. that would seem too perfect. 1

After the season Spurs have just had, not sure Levy will fancy taking a risk on BEK. I like Bilal but I imagine Spurs can still attract a better quality of player.

Frank will be under pressure to do well, they already have a fairly young squad. But you're right in that they can attract a better quality of player and a risk.

I personally don't like those arrangements even though they do make sound business sense. I resent the idea that a player contributes to our relegation, then buggers off for a year while we work to get back up, only to return for the glory bit again. Again, I know it makes sense and my opinion on it is a clear case of emotion getting in the way of good business but 8t just doesn't sit right with me.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 5 August 2025 Posted 5 August 2025 This stinks of an agent working overtime, we get nothing for days and the a bunch of stories/updates (nothing actually happening) all in one go. 2

If he goes, then our midfield hub of dynamism and creativity is Winks, Skipps, Soumare and Hamza which makes me feel a bit sick and pining for the days of Williams/Hughes and Tiatto. 1

What seems perfect to me is Mavididi, Bilal and Fatawu ripping the championship a new one.

JimJams Posted 5 August 2025 Posted 5 August 2025 I've mentioned Taraabt at QPR before, but in a world cup year maybe Bilal would be happy to star at a Champ club like Neil Warnocks finest than risk being benched at a prem side.

He’s got more chance of getting in the Moroccan squad on spurs’ bench than playing in the championship !

Pliskin Posted 5 August 2025 Posted 5 August 2025 I think we lose Bilal, without replacing him. It’s the difference between easing the league, and fighting for promotion. He could on his day make that much of a difference in my opinion. 2
JimJams Posted 5 August 2025 Posted 5 August 2025 (edited) @st albans fox Taraabt got his international debut when playing for QPR in the championship. After being on Spurs bench before that... Edited 5 August 2025 by JimJams Kabam!

After being on Spurs bench before that... yep was quite a time ago and Morocco much weaker back then he’s going to be picked by them wherever he’s playing but he may not be a starter if he’s not being exposed at PL level

Would of thought Spurs will go for someone far more established like Eze if they were prepared to spend 60mil on Gibbs White
Ric Flair Posted 5 August 2025 Posted 5 August 2025 No surprise West Ham and Spurs interested, had his best two games for us vs them both 😂
Pliskin Posted 5 August 2025 Posted 5 August 2025 No way we’re selling him for less than we paid for him. And in the stupid event he did leave, we need to be looking at Maher Carrizo…. Before we let another quality youngster piss off to some stupid league.
