Popular Post Larry_LCFC Posted 27 August 2025 Popular Post Posted 27 August 2025 Player power has got beyond a joke. You are contracted to a club, you will play for the damn club. Not sure who they think they are these players. 5

I just wish that Football could rid itself of the scum that they are. I thought Fofana was bad but this guy takes the biscuit. We will be forced to sell, loan or do whatever which I hope we do and quickly. This person ( can't bring myself to call him a footballer) hasn't exactly proved himself to anyone and, so much so, that a mid table Premier league club have walked away from a deal. I despise this kind of behavior. Rant over.
Dan Posted 27 August 2025 Posted 27 August 2025 I don't really blame him for wanting out but if these things are legit he can piss off to be honest - hardly like he pulled many trees up himself. Buonanotte was better.
Lambert09 Posted 27 August 2025 Posted 27 August 2025 It’s definitely become more normalized for this to happen and it’s truly unacceptable. I do believe any player refusing to play/ train should not be allowed to receive a wage. I had a feeling isak and wissa were going to have a big influence on other players this season. Hopefully both get stuck at their clubs. I hope we get bilal out the club, but I did anyway for the fees involved. 1

Not that this is going to happen. I do find it odd though the number of people crying this off as bullshit clickbait but then go on to slam Bilal for the rumour that they've literally dismissed as crap. 1

"Don't worry my boy you will soon be rolling ball under foot at Premier league trust me and if not you just say I don't want to play any more" He's really not as good as he thinks he is hence why no one has bought him yet, let him rot in the U-18s if he wants, it will be his career he's ruining. 14 minutes ago, Larry_LCFC said: Player power has got beyond a joke. Perhaps we should wait until there's a bit more confirmation of his threats/actions and then you can all have an hysterical breakdown. It's no wonder so many of the players want out when we have 'fans' who abuse them based on something Sky/TalkShite have reported. 5 1
richardsfoxes Posted 27 August 2025 Posted 27 August 2025 This is the one that worries me, not him leaving but him leaving with 1-2 days to go. You know we won't have a plan and somehow **** it up.

FrankieADZ Posted 27 August 2025 Posted 27 August 2025 the stuff abut BEK and sitting in the stands i feel is a bit of a farce or not true, cos its AFCON in Jan and then WC next summer, why would BEK massively knock his chances

Simonb Posted 27 August 2025 Posted 27 August 2025 If he wants to go and there is a reasonable offer on the table around 25m allowing us a small profit just let him go urgently. Gives us time to get someone else in and doesn't risk us being left panic buying garbage, getting noone at all or being left with a player stuck here that doesn't have any interest in either playing or putting up a fight. I've no doubt he wants out, but ill take it with a pinch of salt hes talking about sitting in the stands.. obviously I dont know anymore than anyone else, I just dont see him as that type of player myself 2

Even if he's threatening it I think it's all bluster. If he's still here when the window closes, he'll be fully committed to having a good season. Doesn't really make sense for him to down tools at that point as he's playing for both his national team place and his next move in Jan/Next Summer.

We no longer need to sell because of PSR, the release clause has expired so we can name our price and the only actions the player can take are either self-defeating or to grow up and be professional. Nice to see and it's honestly a refreshing change from getting bent over left and right. I think there is, the modern game revolves a lot around it.
