Not entirely accurate tbf. FB's defensive stats were a real standout ahead of BEK but with the ball neither were brilliant with FB having better dribbling and scoring stats and BEK better passing ones, which is what you'd expect for the players they are.

 

Happy and motivated they'd both be excellent in the Championship. I thought, on the whole, BEK was more use to us last season, he just had absolute garbage playing around him in a terrible system. Pretending BEK is now rubbish just because his agent is being a dick and he's trying to leave is silly.

If this is true then probably accept whatever is offered honestly and go for another attacking midfielder. We need to stop the rot at the club before it gets any worse.

If he really does have the hump and wants out then booting balls at training and with a bit of kick off will get him gone no matter our price I feel. Time will tell.

It's certainly a case of who blinks first, but I'm glad we aren't instantly folding. If we demand £40m and he kicks off, we can 'grudgingly accept' £35m and therefore get £5m more than we'd initially asked for. If that is going to happen, it needs to happen by Friday though. It'd give some war chest over the weekend if we are looking for signings as per the slight increase in links in recent days.

My post stemmed from seven goal involvements over 1514 minutes is being better than BEK's 5 over c2200 minutes. Was to indicate Buonanotte being better rather the view than BEK being rubbish. Nothing more.

Yea agreed. I mean he may not be as keen to put in the marauding runs for some of his closing down challenges, I think that's more to grab the attention of a suitor, but he'd do enough to help us out. 

 

If he dont want to be here though, I would rather he be gone as we wont need the negativity around the club from someone feeling a little solemn about things,  but I dont see him as a trouble maker.
