We are not in a position to refuse .... 15 - 20 million with a sell on clause is about as good as we can hope for

He can be truly frustrating as he does try and do everything himself at times.

Very frustrating... makes the wrong choices .... does the simple stuff badly, hardly ever tracks back ... don't get me wrong he's not a bad player but he is a luxury we can no longer carry

Has been crap recently but the lad has bags of talent. Seems to me like the kind of player who really needs a good coach to get the best out of him and we’ve not had that in a long time. Just look at him under Enzo. Probably doesn’t help he’s often triple teamed either but that’s where again coaching comes into play and it frees up others (like Mav)

I think he’s just as frustrated with his form as we are, perhaps he’s trying too hard. He seems to be player who needs to be love and feel loved and  the our current form isn’t helping.

He's got enough ability to be playing at a decent level but not sure it's in England. Maybe a division like Ligue 1.

I can see him playing for someone like Bayern Munich..

I feel a tiny bit sorry for him but he also drives me crackers. His head has definitely gone though.

The difference between a top player and. Great player is knowing when to do the right things right and executing that decision consistently

sadly he doesn’t

he isn’t a great player

squad player in premier league

Which with the odd banger and his social media presence, means for the right move he could earn very nicely and have a half decent career.

Certainly better than over worked tryer in League 1!

I disagree, he is a great player.

I think it’s clear he doesn’t want to be here anymore, Abdul was always good at tracking back, and always had positive body language on the pitch.

All of that has gone, he barely breaks a sweat now, and the only time we see any kind of spark from him is when he pushes past a player, or cuts inside, and that’s not often anymore.

He clearly doesn’t give a **** anymore, and why would he, he’s guaranteed to leave in the summer, for a reduced fee to someone like Bournemouth where he will excel.

Literally everything he was lauded for has stopped, the elaborate interviews, energetic performances, showboating with the fans… all gone… says a lot to me.

It’s sad really isn’t it. The love he had for the fans and us for him during that first Championship season was a thing of beauty, I hope he absolutely flies wherever he goes next. We ruin players at this club.

He avoids the basics to attempt the difficult. The difficult rarely comes off but in this poor season it’s enough to give you a bit of hope and excitement.

I would rather have Albrighton than any of our wingers.  They have zero instincts as a winger other than stand still to receive the ball and try to skin the players in front. The idea of running into space to receive the ball and a quick 1 - 2 to avoid players is the last thing on their minds.

Now we realise how much Enzo drilled into these players to get them working. Left to his own devices, Fatawu isn’t that good at making the obvious, simple and right choice.  He could have double the goals and assists if he actually worked as a team player. So many times JJ would do the hard work and Fatawu would stand parallel with him instead of the running ahead unmarked.

All very true .... he lacks the instinct to make such runs .... needs to gamble more ...  Albrighton was a consistent 7/10 player at worst .... Fatawu is far to inconsistent with the odd wonder goal which some seem to hang onto ...

Under Enzo - on at least a couple of occasions he was dropped when he started to underperform and make bad decisions. Unfortunately, we don't really have an alternative to him and need the possibility of his wonder goals and so he is teflon in this lineup.

I often forget how young he is....players don't always have consistency until a little later in their careers.

No surprise his form has taken a dip in relation to Ramadan

Think this is fair, against Norwich he looked tired and leggy. While you'd think Rowett would take that into account when choosing to start him, the next best option is Aribo, he looks like he gorges rather than fasts.

Hopefully his form picks up from the Watford game, post Ramadan.

When you look at how players like Semenyo, Rodgers, Gibbs white etc have all kicked on in the prem there’s no reason Fatawu can’t be a first team premier league footballer at a top half club

Everything about LCFC has taken a right battering over the last 6-8 seasons and itakes it's toll on players, on us. Fatawu is symptomatic of the steady decline.

A happy well run successful club is a beautiful thing, we know that and the players do to.
