Yeah. We'd be competing for minus points wouldnt we???

Can we stop the sensationalist nonsense please?

Just a constant competition on here to be the most dramatic isnt there

Yep. No ounce of critical thinking anywhere.

Was overcoached by Enzo as basically played as a wing back half the time. But the very things he's being called out for (rightfully); his selfishness, decision making, predictability, were the very things he was amazing at. It's now gone to the other extreme and is given total freedom.

He needs a manager who gives him more discipline but not as shackled as an Enzo system demands. Still got incredible potential

I disagree. He was far better under Enzo. Can barely remember a bad game under him. He needed the coaching, it’s his decision making that’s the issue

So, he wasnt over coached then?

Dislike him more each game.

Massively predictable.

Option A - Cut inside and attempt a shot.

Option B - Run to the touchline and run it out of play.

I really want to like him, and he's clearly reached a ceiling here for whatever reason.

Less Ego, and some good coaching, im sure theres a great player. But a wonder goal ever few months plasters over a very average winger for us now.

Wish him luck, wont be sad to see him go.

Correlation between how Maddison completely tailed off in the second half of the season we went down. Just dont have the character to dig deep when it matters

Don’t you think the manager is responsible for any of the downturn in form?
He got 4 goals in his previous 7 before Rowetts appointment.

Might not agree with what I said but it wasn't a contradiction as much as you might want to make out. Enzo put in loads of good aspects to Fatawu's play, but I find it hard to accept anyone could have watched him then and thought that he had the freedom to play outside of Enzo's system. He was basically a wingback at times. Think people forget we had a 10 run game where we were basically the worst team in the league form wise, and a lot of that was clearly system based.

Fatawu was great under Enzo but it doesn't mean he was perfect. And those defects were largely a result of the tactical coaching

If I had to choose between doing everything myself or passing the ball to Patson Daka, Bobby DeCordova Reid or Oliver Skipp I know what choice I would make.

I believe half the technically gifted players that could have saved us just gave up through exasperation halfway through the Prem season knowing the other half of the team is made up of Sunday League squad fillers.

He'll be great in a team that has other threats for the opposition to manage, good luck to him.

Was easily better under Enzo. I always felt Enzo got onto him quite a lot, especially about when to shoot. He’s missed that since.

He was also helped that he had Yunus, McAteer and Albrighton available to rotate, another shambolic decision that we’ve played someone coming back from such a big injury layoff as much as we did this season.

Agreed, under Enzo Fatawu had acres of space, he constantly had the Ndidi underlap through the midfield channel which opened space for Fatawu to drive into in the middle of the pitch, and when Ndidi didn't underlap, Ricardo would usually overlap. Under Enzo Fatawu always had space, two things have become clear for me.
1) Fatawu is bang average unless he has loads of space to run into, his decision making is awful
2) When given space to run into things happen, and the fact multiple managers haven't worked this out and tried to find a way to create space for him is astounding.

He showed all of the hallmarks of being a future £30-50m sale, in the end I think Enzos system massively carried him, and when the system isn't built around him, he really isn't anywhere near as good as we thought.

It’s funny, because top players often pull others around them up and make them over perform.

I get that on paper, Abdul’s contribution has clearly not been the biggest issue we have, but I’m not buying into the thinking that he will play for a top club.

I don’t think he will play for a top club. He’s so far of Mahrez it’s untrue.

He is never starting regularly for a Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, PSG, Bayern, Juventus, Madrid, Barca etc. I’m not even sure he’d start for the likes of Forest, Brentford, Brighton, Everton now.

I could see him at Spurs, all fart, no shit in reality.

He’s been poor this season and a few highlight reel goals that people see, make for a nice YouTube video, however he is a one trick pony. Cut inside, smash it over the bar 9 times out of 10. He’s Cengiz Under with pace. Against better defenders, I think he will struggle.

He will end up someone like Besiktas, PAOK, Al Etihad etc and just tick along.

Not for me, maybe Ipswich if they go up, whichever of West Ham or Spurs go down. Maybe a Sunderland or Palace
