I'm happy with the appointment, all i want is someone who wants to be here and demand that standards are set, i like the fact he has worked his way up the ladder aswell, think its also extrmely positive that he encourages the youth. Now we can start talking about the squad, im super excited to see where our youth players will slot into the squad and if they will be in the first 11, If we can somehow get ourselves a good young striker I will be ecstatic, I think for the first time in a long time i'm actually not bothered who leaves either, just want players who want to be here going forward. I hope we can keep Bilal/Mads but if it means that we can reinvest into 3-4-5 players that will improve the starting 11 im happy with that.

Marti, get rid of Faes, thanks.

Sell to buy should be what we do every transfer window - like we used to

I'm sure we will still turn down offers for the dross that have no desire to or are not good enough to play for us, until they eventually leave on a free. Similar to Iversen, Ward, Praet, etc.

Faes, Vestergaard, Soumare, Daka are the prime candidates for the next episode of mismanagement by Rudkin and Top.

Not massively excited. His record at QPR at the end was pretty poor.

Fair play to KP though. Managed to get him to pay his own compo.

Would of rather gave King a go.

All the kicking off that's been done over ridiculous contracts and monies wasted this news should be music to people's ears surely?

Time for the reset , drain as much of the swamp as possible and  blood some of the kids.

More than anything it's time for support and a siege mentality 👊🦊

King does not have the credentials to be manager. It would be rejected by the league.

I could also add Coady, Kristiansen, Ayew, BDCR, Winks and Skipp to that list.

I'll let the young Foxes Talk hipsters judge his credentials,

Just get him in and get behind them

Depends if you mean hipster because of the over the top tactical analysis or are you a hipster because you know who he is?

Im not going to get excited. I just know that if I do the starting team of the season is going to be some arrangment of Faes, Coady, Vestergaard, kristiansen, Winks, Skipp, Soumare Cordova Reid, Ndidi, ayew, Daka.

Not sure that my ideal manager that would come in and ruthlessly bin off this dogmuck even exists.

Look at his stats looks like he's had stop start career looks like a cheap option appointment might get us into the premier just because we still should have a good enough squad for the championship depending on the points deduction we might get but after that give him 10 to 12 matches before we sack him at this stage.

I can't say I'm too excited but I'll see how it goes but it hard to get optimistic about anything this club does lately

Got to admit the more I look at the QPR stint the more meh about it I am. Did very well in his first year, keeping them up when they looked dead and buried - very similar to Rohl. Hasn't really kicked them on at all in the last season though. They survived comfortably in the end but they were bottom of the table in November. I appreciate it's a different level of squad, different resources, but it's all a bit... ordinary.

I saw positive shoots in that win away here in March 2024 (I really couldn't give a shit about that cup game, a total freak that shouldn't have even gone ahead) but I am slightly concerned that the biggest positive we seem to have is that we don't really know a load about him.

We will see. This isn't a strong view against him and it's more intriguing than something like Gary O'Neil, but in my head his record was better than it actually is.

Ordinary is pretty damn good with that squad.

No.
What had Pearson, Enzo, O’Neil and Little done before joining us?
What had Hurzeler done before going Brighton, Iraolo at Bournemouth and Frank at Brentford?
Yes it’s a risk but he has a history of developing young players and that’s what we need now.

Reduce the risk by getting someone with more experience and who knows how to get out the league. Stupid appointment yet again from us we don’t do ourselves any favours

Said this would happen. Can't get Rihl and sign a no marks...

Another Ruud

But will gihim a chance though and get behind him...

Is Rohl's stint at Sheff Wed much different to Cifuentes at QPR? Possibly a bit less streaky and had more shit to deal with but not massively.
