Did make a solid initial 11 selection and appeared to bench the underperformers. Started Monga also a plus. Generally like his subs but tonight when Wrexham changed shape they backfired spectacularly and taking JJ off has hamstrung us. 

 

Defending a 1-0 lead at home with QPR struggling to stay up is one thing but tonight with our squad we needed to be brave and push for 2-3 goals. That sub was a tactical mistake. 

 

Conceded two goals at home in 5 home games which is fine but Wrexham are dross and should have been killed off tonight. 

 

More bravery needed.

A gamble that failed. If we hang on to 1-0 it’s sometimes seen as sensible but against this mob, at home, it sent out the wrong signals and invited pressure, it was the wrong call and that’s not just with the benefit of hindsight. A bad day at the office for him and the players involved.

I hope he’s learning from his mistakes and about who should and shouldn’t be playing.

 

Changing the shape changed the game in their favour, why go defensive when we were still pretty much in control & what happened to the Marti that said we will still go for goals even if ahead

It’s way too early but he’s annoying me badly! I dont even know the style of play ? Where’s the press gone from pre season ? The attack is non existent.

As bad as some of the players are, I still maintain that this squad has to be going up. If he can’t get it promoted then he isn’t good enough. He isn’t getting it promoted with draws. 

We have no clinical or consistent goal scorers not sure what we should expect.

Vardy didn’t create chances. If we were creating lots and not scoring I’d agree with your point. But the fact is we’ve created two shots on target in two games. That is never going to get us promoted.
