The ability to "walk straight through" is likely to depend on what's happening in the queue in front of you.

It's a bit like a car breaking down on a busy single carriageway road.   It only takes one, and a backlog can build up in the time it takes to say   "now why isn't this Mobile Ticket working?.  I'm sure everything looks ok.  I think my NFC is turned on.  oh, now let me just check.   Yeah, that looks alright.   Now what else can it be.  Hey m8, excuse me, do I need to hold it closer?   Here, is that right?.  Hold on, let me try opening my wallet again.    oh, where's it gone?  Got it.   Hold on 2 ticks.   oh b0llocks"

Don’t forget the people who will inevitably have forgotten to have downloaded the ticket to their phone and have no signal to do it at the Ground

Well my other half has just had an email from the club saying she can use last seasons card on Sunday for the Sheffield Weds game, this is going to be interesting.

and also claim that they've had no correspondence about it either.

Is she having a physical card again this season or having to have a digital ticket?

She asked for a physical card (She is allowed one), they sent a digital one, contacted the club explaining she requested a physical one the club said a physical one will be posted out, then received an email saying use last seasons, will wait to see if one arrives.

It does state on the website to use last seasons card

8. Will I Get A New Season Card?

If you’re eligible for a Season Card, you had one for the 2024/25 season, you're keeping the same seat and you’re in the same age band, then your current card will be updated ahead of the 2025/26 season – you won’t receive a new one.

Why couldn't they just do this for everyone?

Norwich had major problems with a half full crowd at their friendly on Saturday.

I'm sure we'll be fine. When we last met the club about it we were told that "it's the same system" as the cards and that they "actually have more issues with the cards than mobile tickets". They also said that the support for and against mobile tickets was "about 50/50". Strangely the Foxestrust survey data was nowhere near 50/50.

Their claim that "the support for and against mobile tickets was about 50/50" is rather disingenuous.

It might well be that half the fanbase "are ok" or even prefer Mobile Tickets.  But that's irrelevant.   They're being given the choice to use something they're ok or happy with.   The issue is ... the other half of the fanbase is being forced to use something they absolutely hate, and do not want to use.  And might struggle to use.    Trying to equate the two is nonsense.

Plus you have to remember that all matchday sales and new season tickets have to be Mobile Tickets anyway.  So the Club are probably counting those also as "in favour", when they also have no choice and might well've preferred a paper ticket or card.

And as for "actually have more issues with the cards than mobile tickets" ... well sorry, but I think that's just a bare-faced lie.

For the last couple of years, I've got in the ground in good time, and spent 5-10 minutes watching people come in through the turnstiles.   I've been curious to observe where the problems occur.

Every home match there are numerous occurrences of people having problems, causing a big delay in the queue.   Occasionally they manage to get in after a couple of minutes, but usually they have to give up, back out of the turnstile, and seek help.

And it's always, and I mean always, Mobile Tickets that are the problems.  In the last 2 years, I have never seen a single problem with the cards.     So for the Club to claim that cards cause more problems ... sorry, I'm not buying that, as I don't see any reason why any of the other turnstiles would be different from the ones I go in.

It says it can only be downloaded once on one device. Has anybody had any experience with getting a new phone? Do you have to contact them to get a link or do they try charging you?

You can delete it out of one wallet and then add to another. It will work once deleted

Bought my daughter a membership last week.

Got the email acknowledgement but a week later still waiting for the NFC link.

Emailed the club who said she should have it by the end of the week!!🤣🤣

Luckily logged into her account online ( Not the app) and it was there ready to download!

Hi all,

Need some advice on the new season ticket system. I previously shared my season ticket with my brother, much easier in the past life of the hard copy tickets.

Now moving into electronic ticket era, is this still possible to both use the ticket without going through the forwarding/reselling system. Can we both have it on our phones through the same account? As we have the logins.

Also how does the system work in terms of how many games you don't attend a season, and not use one of the systems to move the ticket to someone else, without getting the club on your back?

From what I can workout, you can forward the tickets 5 times to friends, resell 10 times.

Thanks for any help!

I have this problem due to my lad going to university as he so won’t be able to get to a few games, is there no way you can get 2 NFC tickets on the same phone just pass it back at the turnstile so whoever I take can scan my sons ticket but the 2nd phone idea sounds good ?

I think it’s one device per ticket, but I’m almost certain that you could have 2 different tickets on the same device. Just as an example if you’ve opted for NFC for a kids ticket then how can they expect a 7 year old to have their own phone etc.

You can have 2 NFC's (If not more- but im not sure)on a mobile.

You just swipe the NFC along when you get to the turnstile

Pretty sure you can have as man tickets as you want on 1 phone. My daughters ticket is linked to my email so I've had 2 download links.

Only thing I know of is that, at turnstile you will need to be in your wallet as it will auto recognise 1 ticket then you need to scroll 2nd ticket to gain next entry it won't auto default to next card/ticket.

I’m trying to downloads my sons onto my phone so I have them both but it won’t let me, any advice or should I try and deal with the useless ticket office of our club?

I scratch my head with the club having difficulties because some clubs abroad and here simply run it all through an app.

For example, the app that the cricket Test venues use for tickets is so easy!

I had three tickets on my phone last season - me and my two kids. Just passed the phone around to get in.

Swear If I see someone’s arm pass a phone through the turnstiles for someone else to get in I’m going to burst out laughing lol
