Surely even we couldn't lose this opening fixture. We'll be up against players who are too young to get the photo ID for a five knuckle shuffle before the game.

They'll still be older than a lot of our team (hopefully!) lol

re ; tickets not being sold for the away end... Sheffield are usually a well followed club and it's a relatively short trip. How many are they likely to bring?

None if they don't put the tickets up for sale.

True that!

Mind you, our academy is in a different stratosphere to theirs.

They'd normally sell out. It makes you wonder if we'd open up the away end to Gen Sale if they sell no away tickets at all. Rumour on Owls Talk is that we aren't selling them to Wednesday because their finances are in such a state that there's no guarantee we'll be paid. What Chansiri has done to that club is despicable.

Is this actually going ahead given the potential collapse of SWFC? Players leaving and management gone. Who's coaching them? No tickets being sold for the away end. What a mess. Sad.

It's got worse.

Sad to see such an historic club (or any club) in such a state :(

You can't buy tickets to their home games either it seems.

They will run out a youth team and beat us 4-0, then go under and everyone gets two 3-0 wins added to their record.

How different will their team be to last season then?

Is Rohl still there?

Left this morning. Which says a lot, because as far as I’m aware he was back there training.

According to BBC, Henrik Pedersen will take charge. The man affectionately known as "Tømrer" (dan. carpenter). Maybe the owner think he's the second coming of Jesus

Fit and proper tests should not only have to be carried out at the point of acquiring shares in a football club. It should be something that is done regularly and the ownership should be scrutinised properly based on their performance at that club.

This has the feel of that Hull game in 16/17, opening day.

They'll have a bunch of kids going out with fearless nativity, nothing to lose and everything to prove.

My thoughts exactly. Everything says we win comfortably, apart from the small fact that we are Leicester F***ing City.

Put your house on a 2-1 win, Barry Bannan signs on a short term to help the club out, scores the winner a week before he leaves and celebrates by sitting the U10s down and teaching them their times tables

Could we not sell tickets to Wednesday fans with ID as proof of address? Seems scandalous that they are being held hostage by their owner. Surely we as a club can do more to support them in the spirit of the game/sport.

Does that mean they're vulnerable to crosses?

Live in Sheffield,  its a disgrace what he's doing. The council have deemed  a stand unsafe now. ****ing appalling.

5-0 Ayew all five

Such a shame to see. They’re a fantastic club as well, feel for their fans…. Could be us in twelve months with these useless twats running sorry, not running the club.
