I don't care if Luke Thomas is Linekers and Willie Thorne's love child and was conceived on the tip of the clock tower.

He's a crap LB......

Each to their own, but not sure how anyone can say Ayew was poor

Thought he looked head and shoulders above anyone on the pitch ability wise (bar abdul)

I don't think that Leicester fans can take much away from todays performance as it wasn't a normal game.... All the pressure from the hype behind SWFC's circumstances and playing a shoe string team that they should beat easily... However, the EFL stepped in with the officials for the (offside) 1st goal by Leicester and subsequent sending off of Barry Bannan to ensure a result...

Good to see you're taling it well

By the way I thought ayew was fantastic today best player on pitch

He looked much better when he had time and space. Especially when they went down to 10 men.

I think it will be a frustrating season, however, if he leads the line as the number 9. I’d much rather get a more natural striker in.

Yep had a good game but really stepped it up to another level when he went into the No.10 position. He should have got two assists for Daka and BEK.

We need to sign a decent striker so he can play there more often.

This is mental

But is it? Would you not rather he get the ball, release it quicker and then move into space and create more movement around him? It would make our attack far more dynamic. Too many times today it slowed down because the ball wasn’t being released quick enough. Not saying he had a bad game, just that there’s things I wish he did a bit quicker.

First half was awful and I thought here we go again. But 2nd half much better winks and monga changed it. Glad Faes scored and gave the fans some grief. Now to play like that in both half's and will be a decent season

Get players around him and he'll boss this league. But he was so isolated first half and ended up miles away from anyway dangerous

Correct. He has to play as a false nine if anything, meaning Stephy and Abdul needs to stay very high and run on beyond

But too often, we give it to the wingers too deep as an easy outball

A natural born finisher absolutely 💯

First half was ugly, Second half was slightly less ugly, Vesty and Faes rescue the day.

And referee so it was versus 10 man Wednesday...

Winks didn’t look or seem happy in his post match interview. Either he wants out or there’s something going on with him. Looks a shadow of the player in the championship who seemed lively and full of life. Hope he’s alright.

As much as it pains me to say it, Winks has to start.

It shouldn’t pain you. He’s head and shoulders above the others as our best CM - although that says a lot about our other options

He has always been crap, but occasionally he will do ONE good thing and some fans thing he will do a job for us at this level. He really won't.
We need a starting LB, x2 CM's and a Striker. That is if we don't lose anyone too. Soumare and Skipp should be shipped off to anyone who will take them on loan.

Both LB and RB don’t seem to want to overlap and cross, they come more central and slow things down. Don’t know if it’s tactical but both could be replaced with better options

Game went very much as expected. Wednesday full of beans and got a fortunate goal. Much the better team after half time and the quality showed.

Long old season. 3 pts onto the next one.

I must have missed the Ayew masterclass but I suppose it all looks fine after a win. Squad needs serious freshening though, that was a let off against a team that had barely prepared.

Sitting behind the goal. Soumare should never ever ever play again. I've been of that opinion for every season now. Flashes of 'brilliance' are completely outweighed by the outsized affect he has on the team structure and spirit.

Ayew does a great job at taking players out of the game and has been told to stay upright. But he's almost allergic to the 6 yard area or box in general. Meaning we have nobody at the end of those countless pumped balls into the area.

Skipp I thought harried and chased but it was like watching a child at times. A far worse footballer than Choudhury at present. No idea what he was like in the past to justify that price tag.

Massive credit to the Sheffield Wednesday fans. And their keeper made some crucial saves. They were the much better team in the first half and far more dangerous than us.

Worrying it took a red card to make the breakthrough.

Fundamentally the 2 pivots - Soumare and Skipp - made what should have been a comfortable game into a potential loss. Both need to sit on the bench until we have a comfortable lead and even then I'd be worried.
