Chelsea selling their own hotels and will womens club back to themselves?

3 years chasing Man City whilst they compete at the top end uninhibited.

Man United washing cash away.

This isn't a fair process, is it, Manuel?

If you look closely at enough most clubs will be doing something to avoid breaking rules, if it's legal it's legal. You follow the laws to the letter you'll be alright, Forest for example as you've bought up Palace, exactly the same boat as Palace, got around it, Palace even tried to do what they did but didn't do it in time, Forest play in the Europa League, Palace do not. Similar size clubs no bias on size. It is not having "fingers in pies" it is being a "majority shareholder"

What Chelsea have done, letter of the PL's own laws, is legal, Manchester City on the other hand they feel have broken their rules, and they have a hearing in October and have been charged with 115 cases of financial irregularity. And it is interesting you are digging out a team with financial irregularities, for operating for 3 years, successfully, without facing a penalty, when at the time of writing you support a club, that has operated for nearly 3 years with financial irregularities, achieving promotion, so successfully, without as of yet, facing a penalty...... The PL have been after Man City the entire time so lets not pretend they aren't doing anything, these things sit with independent commissions and can take some time. If Manchester City get away with it, it'll be to do with the said independent commission, that has nothing to do with the football structure.

I mean the rules are bollocks, like many financial rules in the world they are numerous loop holes and pretty much aren't worth the paper they are wrote on but if you are stupid enough not to navigate them properly (as Chelsea did) you will be charged, like Man City have, like we have. Lets not pretend the clubs size has anything to do with as if this was the case, Manchester City wouldn't have been charged, 115 times. Juventus, another example of a very large club being hit hard when needed.

Or member we could go back to the 60's and 70's as you would like where Italian clubs could cheat there way to the European cup without penalty.

Mid table unless a striker comes in. Can’t rely on Monga, it took Vardy and Mahrez a while to find their feet in the championship and I don’t see that being any different with the young lads.

Ayew isn’t a 9, Daka certainly isn’t, and the defence is still hopeless. Fatawu and Mavididi will be positives I’m sure. Ricardo coming in and staying fit is crucial.

You can't get relegated make zero new signings and expect the same group of players who gave up after 15 games to suddenly become interested/motivated again.

There are 6 or 7 of this group that don't want to be here and that's a cancer in any squad. They don't inspire the academy they infect them with their attitude. In the same way a spine of players can drive you to success it can also take you down.

So yeah, we could but there's 2 weeks to find a cure.

No but as I’ve already said this looks and feels like 04-05.

Back then we had a top 6+ squad and budget and yet finished 14th-16th two seasons running playing like idiots and individuals.

We also had no money and a dads army squad. This is a better position and we're going to be as bad if not worse.

We’ve scrambled past Wednesday and lost convincingly (albeit not in scoreline) by a team who stopped up on the last day.

we are likely to be weaker in terms of players by the end of the window, certainly not stronger.

i wouldn’t be surprised if we were in League one next season

It isnt beyond the realms of possibility, but it's far too early to claim it two games in. Especially with nobody else particularly pulling up trees.

That being said, the early signs are worrying. No effort, no threat, predictable football and far too soft as a team. What happened to the team that made Fiorentina look ordinary in preseason with all that pressing, intent and quality? We've squealed past a horrid Sheffield Wednesday side, stunk the place out at League One Huddersfield and been thoroughly outplayed by Preston. None will be in the Premier League promotion shakeup if we're realistic.

So far this season, we've squeaked past a Sheffield Wednesday side that will definitely be in League 1 next season, lost to Huddersfield reserves, and been beaten by a poor Preston side. If you think we're too good to go down, get your head out of your arse.

We absolutely could get relegated again. The culture at the club is all wrong.

Some people are so pathetic lol  By no means does it look like its going to be anything like the smooth sailing most of 23/24 was, but the knee jerk reactions here.... you're clearly not factoring there are 23 other sides in this division and you're kidding yourself if you think 21 of them are likely to score more points that us. As last week showed (against a side not made up of kids like the media will have you believe) even when we're not at our best we'll be capable of winning.

IF we sell both BEK AND Fatawu then this becomes a distinct possibility. We'd be left with a squad that is very much a championship squad. Furthermore, it's a dysfunctional squad without decent leadership. There's also a total lack of quality in midfield and very little threat up front. KP look like they're trying to claw back some money before they **** off.

It's not impossible that we go down. Very little is going well at the club.
