I used to go to McDonald’s and just order 3 large fries,  and I’d do that 2-3 times a week. I was fairly  addicted to their fries!

I don’t go there any more. For my own good!

Great shout but as much as I love them, this is an example of too much of a good thing...

Nah you're not! They've done a double filet now, had it yesterday was good!

Used to love Curtis (It's a Lincolnshire butcher/bakery) Cheese Straws, until they jacked the prices up. Could happily devour a bag of 6 for lunch!

Chocolate melt in the middle puddings with vanilla ice cream.

Every day after dinner, unless we've eaten out, and even then if there's nothing better on the menu for pudding I'll skip it in the restaurant and have one at home instead.

Catching them fresh out of the oven was elite.

Squashies or those Co-op Salt and Vinegar crisps that are so strong they literally make your tongue hurt for days afterwards.

Salt and vinegar. Out of the freezer. Marvellous.

@Trav Le Bleu

So I was at home this arvo following a trip to A&E with concussion…

I’ve tried to explain to my wife tonight that I tried this and she thinks my concussion is worse and has taken some convincing that she doesn’t need to watch me sleep in case I die.

With that out of the way the crisps (Mcyoys salt and vinegar), tasted sharp and very crispy (more so than usual) and a little colder than usual (possibly to be expected) but really quite nice.

I then googled @urban.spaceman ‘s phenomenon to find that lots of weirdo’s slash people do it and particularly chefs and also people freeze half bags of open crisps to keep them from going soft.

I’m writing this with concussion and a drink in (not on the advisory paperwork) so it all seems a bit weird but yeah, it’s a thing.

I went through a phase of dry roasted as well lol don't stock them at the corner shop now

I get my fix for both at Aldi, though choc peanuts are not always in, KP dry roasted are best but more expensive and harder to find.

Popcorn either toffee or sweet n salty.

Cofresh chilli n lemon crisps

Walkers jalapeño n cheese crisps

Anything from Cofresh

Leicester is definitely the 'crisp' capital of the world.

Indeed, a lot of weirdos do slash people.

There used to be a strike through type option but it didn’t let me hence the underline outcome. Everything is still cognitively quite tough.

Coop salt and vinegar are a crisp I have truly bought into the hype with. Even better out the freezer
