This is going to sound geeky and/or irrelevant, but the positioning of the ref is really pissing me off. He's really poor. Gets himself in the way of play and also misses things because he's "too close" to things.

Aside from the goal we have been honking. Aimless passing around at the back and out of ideas when we get within 5 yards of the half way line. Serious trouble ahead if we don't strengthen.

I think Birmingham’s long ball tendency has forced our back line to play deeper… which has meant our forward press isn’t as effective.

 

We’ve also been guilty of giving the ball back too easily.

Other than Fatawu, I'm not sure I agree. Personnel is poor. Ayew plays so deep, we can't actually counter effectively and Patson Daka is an abysmal footballer.
