Don’t think they’ve had a shot on target and we haven’t even played well. That first half just shows why we need reinforcements. Only real spark was Fatawu’s bit of quality but we’ve not been in control. Need to see Monga, Ricardo, Winks and Daka after the break.

Promising start to the first half, then it fell off somewhat.

I'd love to see us put on more pressure in midfield.

Annoyingly, the two players I’d add are Bilal and Winks. It would be enough to shift the balance if power in this game. 😞

Can’t fault Marti at all right now. Its clear we are crying out for players. He clearly and rightly tweaked the formation with the inverted full backs as we don’t have the players do so but as a consequence struggling to control the game

It is making me laugh at the moment though. He's like an articulated lorry when pressing or running on to a through ball. He needs to be able to drop deeper with someone ahead of him, pressing.

Nowhere near where we want to be in possession which is understandable when some of your best technical players are having a strop. Out of possession we have been superb, Skipp and Soumare have done a great job of shielding the back 4. 
 

Hopefully Faes, BEK, VK and Winks go before Monday and it means we can bring in 2 or 3 new signings that will freshen it up and give us a bit of quality where we need it. 
 

it does make me smile somewhat when so many fans battered Ruud, Enzo and Brendan for not mixing it up and grinding out results when things are difficult and here is Marti doing exactly that and getting a bit of stick. 
 

It ain’t pretty but it’s better than getting our arses handed to us because we have to play one way.

We’re still a work in progress. It could work better having that tighter knit squad and build the spirit and style over time.

After a promising start it goes all downhill and I find it frustrating to watch.

The options currently available to the manager are generally awful but I still don't think his system is working at all from an attacking point of view. We seem to have 6 defensive outfield players who never go beyond the halfway line. The full backs never support the wingers and the 2 CMs sit 5 yards in front of the CBs. And to top it all off we have a striker who touches the ball more in his own half than the opposition's and a kid playing at 10 who looks out of his depth. It's a mess.

He clearly has some license to roam, as we saw him doing that which led to his nice slip, but he mostly does not.
