Nobody mentioned yet that we haven't played these in a league match in 31 years?

Last game I can remember was 2-2 at their place I think? (Manor ground)

Begovic.

Okoli. Nelson

Choudhury. Soumaré Skipp

Monga

Daka. Ayew.

I will agree with you, however Monga has been better than stephy this year. That’s all.

I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone would drop Okoli, and I don’t think Cifuentes will.

I don't think Marti will either, but, whilst there's plenty to like about Okoli, not least his apparent commitment to the cause, it would be nice if he passed to his team mates more often.

He's a shit footballer, but a decent defender (if that makes sense)

I think it will be the same team as Birmingham.

Maybe Daka or Carranza for Page, and Ayew drops to the 10.

Marti is meticulous on out of possession shape, and he’s just starting to see results with that, he’ll integrate the newbies slowly until he trusts they are tuned in.

I'm sure our first preseason friendly as champions of England was at Oxford. I seem to remember it being a sellout and Lineker parading the trophy before kick-off.

Needs to be loaned out in January if he isn’t getting good minutes by then

Especially if Souttar is back as well

It's just unthinkable to have a player of his talents not playing. It will be a major blot on Cifuentes' copy book if Nelson isn't at the epicentre of this team this season.

I reckon this ends up with the same feel as Rotherham away last time out, where we sneak a 2-1 win with an academy lad (Page?) bagging a brace.

I think most people would agree on Monga, but he’s only 16. We have to be careful not to over play him.

I think an impact sub is his best role at the moment. It allows him to come on and play with a bit of freedom

And we lost 3-2 to them at home that season too.

I think Monga will be our super sub this season and Cifuentes knows this. Perfect for coming on 20-30 mins of games at the moment against tired legs. Hell rack up goals/assists that way and it also protects him. Just need Stephy to find some form

Throw in Kristiansen and Souttar, into the match day squad, when fit. That 20 then picks it self, maybe need Page in the 20. Not sure which three drop out 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hum.....Huge contradiction!

Doesn't really pick itself then if you don't know who to leave out?

One of my memories of Oxford away was early nineties. The women doing their announcing on the pa/radio was in a box behind the away end and I can't remember exactly why, but she ended up coming out of the box and having a row with the whole Leicester end. As you can imagine, she rose to the bait and got pasted en masse. She absolutely lost it.

Got to be careful with Monga though. Still needs easing in.

Didn’t see anything against Huddersfield to push him in to be the ‘epicentre’ of anything ric - he was distinctly average - should have given away 2 pens and gave the ball away across his own box numerous times - you aren’t getting in after that - audition was a bit pants - he is 4th choice
