Ayew irritation aside, it’s been a poor quality game, but we actually stood up to the pressure of their very aggressive press pretty well and looked solid defensively.

HT coming at the wrong time for us. We were starting to look much better. I think Marti will give Mav and Bouba 15 minutes. Ayew won't be going anywhere, he seems to love Jordan

Constantly the wrong side of play and in possession he is slow and laboured, ball speed of his passes are so slow as well. Need to move JJ back and bring on either Monga and move Mav inside to the No10 or move Ayew back and bring on Carranza.

Soumare gets so much shit on here, people just love to hate him. He’s been fine, maybe even good. 
 

Won 100% of his tackles and aerial duels in that half, has the most passes in the final 3rd for us (11) with 100% accuracy, better statistically than everyone else that half arguably… hardly shite imo

For all the guff they get here, Vesty and Faes are very progressive-thinking defenders. They're always trying to get things moving forward, where alas they often stall out.
