When we play it out left, nothing happens. Where are the inside channel runs to stretch defences?

Ramsey did this a lot first half.

Dominated first half and should have scored at least 2 or 3. Once they equalized we just looked flat and out of ideas. Marti’s subs just made things worse. 4 wins from 10 games is not good enough.

That second half was a ****ing embarrassment and the subs weakened us, no question.

Whilst I agree that our striker options are shite, they are literally feeding off scraps, we create nothing.

The main problem is our piss poor strike force. Both Daka & Carranza are utterly non existent. Complete dross. I have no idea why they’re in the team. It’s getting to the point where we must play the under 16-17s strikers instead. This surely can’t be any worse. It’s a front-line shitshow. A total embarrassment.

Teams go into matches with us like a boxing match.

They keep us at arms length and then go for us when they realise we can’t punch.

We need to do something different. Change the shape or change the personnel. Marti needs to sort this out.

True, but it's his first proper appearance. I'm nervous that he'll soon stop doing it. But James and Ramsey have definitely increased the quality of our play, so there is some hope.

James and Ramsey ran out of steam in second half so everything stalled and we went backwards. Thomas is weak link at left back. He's too light weight and distribution is questionable. Should've hit the target in the last minute.

Monga offered nothing again by the way. Gone into his shell a bit recently.

Mavididi has been cr@p as well, but probably needs to start when he’s fit. Monga looked at his best with his late cameos and less pressure to influence the game

That was awful to watch.

MC is a reactive manager. Doesn't lead, waits for opposition to show their hand, and adapts to the situation.

I can see how his teams take so long to gain momentum and form. International break, means we take a 2 steps back again.

Also, we do know how to make the opposition look good.

I'll go against the grain a bit, yes we were poor 2nd half but credit to Portsmouth and their manager, they came out and brought a level of pressing from the front and intensity that we couldn't deal with from 45-70 minutes and was higher than I've seen from a side at this level for a while. We would have lapped that up under Enzo and gone 2-0 or 3-0 up, but we had no answer this evening. It laid bare Stolarczyk's distribution for one

The midfield also got overrun second half. That Winks, James and Ramsey trio will give higher highs on possession, but they got bypassed so easily once Portsmouth turned up the energy. Easy to criticise Cifuentes, but the changes he made were all spot on. I don't lay too much blame on him, the players were simply unable to stem the flow once the tide turned at the beginning of the 2nd half.

We also still carry certain individuals who aren't good enough at this level. I really really hope Luke Thomas is not our starting left back for too much longer.

Can’t blame the manager too much. We started the second half terribly but he tried to make early changes to resolve it. The real problem is the players he had to choose from off the bench…and that’s not on him.

Most of the heat should be on the players and the board.

While you do have a point the reason we drew is a poor decision by Ricardo to vacate is FB position which led to the Goal. But really the level of effort from the whole team is just not acceptable.

We were out mussled in all the one to one challenges. Played too deep 2ns half and  made poor decisions when we did have the Ball.

Where I do blame the Manager is the mentality he sent the Team out in  I can tell you is a losing mentality. He's got to fire them up before games so as there's no missunderstandings as to the amount of effort needed to win games.

I live about an hour and 1.15 mins drive, so not too far. But I didn’t go tonight and really struggled to get up for going. Especially on an evening game when I don’t get back until nearly midnight.

Its just flat.

A very sad time.

That's down to Rudkin.

We needed to get through the initial Portsmouth rush just after half time but the front 3 offered no out ball. I think Marti was about to rectify that but they scored just as we were making the changes.

Yeah I don’t disagree with that. The jury is still out on Cifuentes, but the club is rotten to the core and that is 100% down to Rudkin and the rest of the hierarchy.

Who are you putting in?

I ask as that was more or less the starting eleven I’d have gone for. Maybe Daka for Carranza, but they look equally shite to be  honest.

I’m at a loss. I just can’t understand the 2nd half performances against Wrexham and now Portsmouth. I can’t think what system or personnel prevents us going from looking perfectly good to absolutely abysmal in the same match.

It would be easier to understand if we looked sh1t for 90 minutes.
