Fatawu had a half chance at best in the counter Chance one was when ayew fell over. Chance 2 was when bdcr fluffed the follow up 2
southfox66 Posted 21 January Posted 21 January Surely there can't be any fans out there that actually think he's doing a decent job at club ?

ACF Posted 21 January Posted 21 January We couldn’t afford to pay out his compo due to QPR, you think we can afford to sack him?
kingfox Posted 21 January Posted 21 January We’ve seen it so many times with Leicester managers, whether through body language on the touchline, or through comments in post match interviews, you just know their time is done. Tonight feels like that time for Cifuentes. To come out and partly blame the wind shows that he’s officially lost the plot. Going full blown Ty from AFTV and making yourself a laughing stock, surely there’s no way back from that.
Guppys Love Child Posted 21 January Posted 21 January I think he wants out. Stupid embarrassing comments on Interviews. Doesn't reflect well on yhe club. The strange, bordering on suicidal team selections in defence tonight, like using a CB when he had fullbacks at his disposal (yes not greatest, but Aluko is far better than a makeshift Nelson at LB) Even more reluctant to use subs. 78 min is appalling and if not forced due to injury may not have ( OK possibly clutching at straws there) The next time he's in front of he camera be it pre or post match, his choice of words and phrases will be telling. As soon as he really starts shifting blame towards players, (and not using the collective 'we' and quoting neutral stuff like 'happy with the situation') or starts quoting things or events outside the sphere of his control, even blaming ludicrous desperate things like weather more often then he's protecting brand Marti and making it uncomfortable for the Nepo Baby and Co to continue to be associated with him. The pending points deduction will.be the defining event of this season. We'll drop into a instant relegation scrap, and tonights match has showed both the team and manager are NOT prepared mentally stronv enough or even equipped to deal with the situation. Top and his cronies know this and deep down I think Marti does too. So the first loss that drops us into the bottom 3 (highly likely with our now mentally fragile, broken team and manager) or if we are in it from the get go post deduction, the situation is tailor made for both parties to engineer a split. I appreciate we are skint but this is a matter of pride especially from Top and KP's viewpoint, and being in the bottom 3 and sacking him compared to being 14th and out of danger gives them the excuse to save face, something they hold paramount. Marti's excuse is if not for the deduction ( not my fault) we wouldn't be in the bottom 3 Blah Blah. . 1

Heathrow fox Posted 21 January Posted 21 January Well he’s passed the six month point which can be a cut off date.Looks like he’s going nowhere
Dan Posted 21 January Posted 21 January The level of performance under him is just so utterly abject every single game and he never ever changes anything except the occasional personnel, often enforced by injury, suspension or fatigue. I'd get this if we were top of the league but the bloke hasn't got a jot of imagination whatsoever. Terrible coach. 3

He will be getting a handsome payout… I’m no body language expert, but he’s casting the same figure as Brendan when he tossed it. Marti doesn’t want to be here anymore. 1

FoxTrott Posted 21 January Posted 21 January What happened to the Cruyff style of football we were sold in the summer? 1

My worry is that Top is now so checked out from the whole thing that he wouldn't even notice that we'd dropped into the relegation zone until weeks later. 1

cruzFOX Posted 21 January Posted 21 January Marti is not gonna change so we will keep getting the same performances and results..
damolcfc Posted 21 January Posted 21 January A 90th minute equaliser and the celebration was weird. Literally 3 of them seemed pleased. 1

He’s the latest of several managers to discover he does not have it in him to single-handedly fill the void where the club’s soul used to be. It’s a lot to ask of one man and it would take a genuinely elite manager to achieve it. Unfortunately we might struggle to attract one of those. Edited 21 January by ClaphamFox 2
LichesterRedSoxSoccerBall Posted 21 January Posted 21 January 10 points above relegation place and we have a pending deduction. Anyone that thinks we are safe need a wake up, under Marti we are heading into trouble. It's a disgrace 1
Lcfcwigstonblue Posted 21 January Posted 21 January Rinse and repeat. Daka is an horrendous finisher yet I would still rather him up front over Ayew. Hamza isn’t good enough, the change last night should have been Ricardo in midfield and keep Hamza away from midfield. i think Ricky P would be better in the middle now, he is getting isolated at right back and caught out easily.
FoxFossil Posted 21 January Posted 21 January Marti looks a broken man. Has he been told no transfers in, including loans? Or maybe he's not being told anything, just no communication from Rudkin and Top, who seems to have abandoned us. Club running on empty. No wonder Vesty and rest of the players didn't cellebrate. 1

Popular Post jv1 Posted 21 January Popular Post Posted 21 January Found myself apologising to my 12yr old daughter last night that im subjecting her to having to watch this Leicester team - tbh with you she is the one who wants to go to games at the minute and watch them on the tv when we can’t - it’s only really her love for it that’s keeping me going - I am really struggling watching this lot manage and play for our club - iv no enthusiasm at all at the minute - I know im not the only one that feels that way - some part of the love for it just feels eroded away currently - it’s not success or failure related it’s deeper than that - this lot are draining the life out of it 5

First time I've not celebrated a last minute at the death equaliser. I just sat there emotionless. There isn't any soul in this club. The heart has been ripped out and all we're left with is an empty shell. Shameful really. 2

I know circumstances were slightly different but it shows what a good job Enzo did in galvanising a squad and bringing back a feel good factor to the squad. Until the decision makers change now. Nothing does. 1

I’ve got literally no idea what the club saw in him other than him being a cheap option.
