The work rate and attitude of our players stinks. Hull nearly went down last season, but they were more up for it last night than us. I dread to think what Millwall will do to us because I think they're actually a better side. Mostly will also depend on what team Marti puts out because the eleven last night was a disgraceful lineup Like I've said and evidenced with their record at home last season, it's not a hard place to go. It might be a hard place for us to go, but that's a different kettle of fish. I'm not expecting a result here either btw.
filbertway Posted 22 October 2025 Posted 22 October 2025 Feel like people are disregarding the fact that Hull decided to just let us attack for the last 20-30 mins or so. If we start a game with that team that finished we'll get absolutely blitzed on the counter by fresh teams. If Hull had any energy or desire to score after we went to a back 3 they definitely could have. 1

But the teams that win there usually show a lot more intent and attitude than we do. Our form there is dog shit. I've been I think six times and not seen us score let alone draw so I expect a loss 🤣

If anyone could turn up and make Millwall look like world beaters it’s us.
tickler28 Posted 22 October 2025 Posted 22 October 2025 We ain't winning this...be a miracle if we can scrape a draw....I'd settle for a 1 nil defeat at this point
Ricey Posted 22 October 2025 Posted 22 October 2025 Same team as first half against Portsmouth but Okoli for Faes. It's not the game for throwing in teenagers.
Dahnsouff Posted 22 October 2025 Posted 22 October 2025 Another in-your-face team. Not optimistic, but…
Noahfence Posted 22 October 2025 Posted 22 October 2025 These are another team that aren’t actually very good (look at their home results) but also the exact sort of side we will struggle massively against 1

Gazza M Posted 22 October 2025 Posted 22 October 2025 Not sure if Marti is being forced to play the senior players, but if I was him I would drop a few completely out and risk a backlash from them. Jakub Ricardo Nelson Okoli Thomas James Ramsey Page Fatawu Ayew Monga
Corbee Posted 22 October 2025 Posted 22 October 2025 3-1 Millwall with LcFC goal in injury time when Millwall have switched off at a comfortable 3-0 victory
Pliskin Posted 22 October 2025 Posted 22 October 2025 Stolorczyk Nelson Vestegaard Okoli Ricardo Aluko Winks James Ramsay Evans Ayew 1

Stuntman_Mike Posted 22 October 2025 Posted 22 October 2025 Despite all the frustrations, I actually fancy us in this one. 1
adejo92 Posted 22 October 2025 Posted 22 October 2025 Here we go again. All the starting line up predictions filled with players we know arent going to get a look in. Surely even Marti starts to realise that some of the players he's starting every week are going to cost him his job? Im that annoyed with how bad we are, even my favourite players like Fatawu are starting to frustrate me. 2
PhillippaT Posted 22 October 2025 Posted 22 October 2025 Considering I'm living close(r) to Millwall these days, does this count as a home game? (Not that I'm interested in tickets or owt. Pay to watch us atm? Yeah, nah...)

LCFCJohn Posted 23 October 2025 Posted 23 October 2025 Easy win for Millwall. Our lot haven’t got the stomach for it.
Filbert Fireworks Posted 23 October 2025 Posted 23 October 2025 I'm actually slightly optimistic. Ramsey will probably be ready for 90mins again. Ricardo too. James has another week under his belt of fitness he's ok untill his steam runs out. Soumare who clearly drags the team down should be back on the bench. Marti made the fatal mistake of starting farce and Bouba in the same 11 which rots the spine of the team. Millwall have only scored 13 goals in 11 games although in a patch of form. Think we can turn it around with the regular starting 11. 1
lgfualol Posted 23 October 2025 Posted 23 October 2025 (edited) Marti is like 🤔🤔🤔🤔… ☝️🤓 Stolarkers Ricardo Faes Vestergaard Thomas (surely they’ll be better on the 10th attempt, no overlapping allowed though Ricardo, and Jannik let’s try more long balls for Ayew to run after) James Winks (James hooked after 60 mins for Skipp so Skipp can build confidence (we concede 2 directly after he comes on)) Fatawu Ramsey Monga (best performing player gets hooked for Bobby Reid, Fatawu triple marked - Ayew not in box for crosses) Ayew (let’s give this another go, as we’ve tried Daka and the other one and we’re still shit) Edited 23 October 2025 by lgfualol
The Year Of The Fox Posted 23 October 2025 Posted 23 October 2025 Contemplating having Milwall on my Last Man Standing. It’s the latter stages of that competition too. Says it all
