Pair of you are just completely missing the points and not reading the situation we are in

I just don't rate him nothing personal, has he ever got a club promoted? What's the the point of a 2 or 3 year contract just to sit mid-table playing shit football

The hearts manager would be a good shout.

Cheap as well wages would be about £2500 -3000 per week so no issues there.

Yes, he might do well but you can understand that fans will be underwhelmed if Gary Rowett takes charge.

Plenty of good managers got fired by small outfits. Eddie Howe at Burnley, Marco Silva at Hull,  Claudio Ranieri at Greece...

I live in Oxford now and know loads of Oxford United fans who really rate Rowett as a solid manager. Kept them up against all odds last year and kept them out the relegation zone all this season.

They say he got fired for off pitch reasons - not much of a yes man, fell out with the owners who have this odd belief they should be a "top 30" club. Top half of the Championship and flirting with promotion. Most managers would fail with that objective!

I think there are better candidates out there but also seems like Rowett has a lot of what we need.

Really good points except neither Howe or Silva got sacked by the clubs listed. Howe left Burnley to go back to Bournemouth to finish the job (like Pearson came back to us from Hull) and Silva made quite an impression at Hull in his short time there. Resigned at the end of his short contract and joined PL Watford.

Unless it Nige, which is highly unlikely, be prepared to be underwhelmed.

Buy out clause might be a issue considering we are skint.

Why are you posting meaningless bookies’ odds?

Not exactly meaningless when I vividly remember Cifuentes being high up on the list during the summer.

Knock the k off and we might just be able to afford that if we have a whip round.

Yeah, I've got accounts at all 3 East Mids teams and used to pick and choose which team to watch so I could get my football fix when I moved south.

I lived near PP so ended up mostly watching Derby becayse there was a decent Scottish contingent in the team.

Back on topic,  the Motherwell manager is getting rave reviews up North.

Nige as interim until end of season, then move to Technical Director role with no reporting line to Rudkin and we appoint Wellens or Fuchs as the new manager in the summer, Kingy stays as a coach ……Bosh
