What were the tactics today? Genuinely if I had one thing to cling on to I'd be all for Marti staying. I like him as a person. He certainly has more about him as a man than someone like Rudkin or Top will ever have. But let's stop pretending he's doing a good job or this was inevitable. It's a disgrace.

Get the ball in the box from the wings which we did many times only for no one to take advantage of it, Marti can't score for them..

He is out thought by every opposition manager. He’s awful.

More like the players are out fought by the other team who actually give a shit and put in a shift, look at Kristensen for the 2nd goal for example, pathetic.

I think they're miles off match fitness. I noticed VK blowing hard and looking knackered after only about 20 mins into the match.

His subs arguably made it worse. At least prior to that Mavididi looked dangerous, and should have scored.

This is my biggest problem game after game. The subs never make us better. He's the only manager I can remember who weakens the team with his bench players. We just do the same thing with players that werent good enough to start the game.

The left backs are as shit as each other. The midfielders are all equally uncreative. The wingers all do the same thing. The strikers are all shot-shy, passive and incapable of anticipating a cross.

I like the manager and the board should get all the anger for the current LCFC shitshow but the fact is 2 or 3 more 'displays' like that and there will be no alternative but to fire him. You cannot go 1 win in 10 in this division. Its a miserable, dead man league. For all the paint-by-numbers pundits bullshi++ing away about the competitive unpredictable Championship it's a doggo league with doggo football.

Yeah you know what I just went and watched it back. Missed it before because I was too focused on Kristiansen doing... his best, but he passed his man on without saying anything then just ****ing stood there. You're right.

Don’t get me wrong, he was far from our worst player today but I’m just sick of the sight of him (and the rest).

Kristiansen needs to learn to overlap, every time we'd attack he'd run to where the ball player is in the process of running to and then offer no outlet

I think the LBs have been told to sit back. In previous seasons VK has overlapped. There was a point where I think Marti asked him to go and do that and he was much further up the pitch. When the subs came on, a note was handed to Ricky P and he looked absolutely bamboozled, kept looking over to the bench and saying what appeared to be "who me?"

The note was then passed around and equally everyone else was confused.

I just think there not that bothered.

Indeed - in front of 20 odd thousand of your own fans.

So what are they like out of the public gaze at the holiday camp? Little effort put in there I reckon, leading to being miles off the pace in matches.

The early KO jinx strikes again, clearly these players aren't morning-early afternoon people, lol!

Or evening people

That's as bad as i can recall in a LOT of years.  Abysmal.  I only stayed til the end so i could give the unlikeable, lazy c**nts both barrels.  And when i looked over to sk2 there were people on their feet clapping.  To those people....what the f**k were you clapping ?  Seriously, what?

I went to most of those home matches where we broke all records for games without scoring. 9 wasn't it?

This somehow feels worse given the opposition. They can go through this without me. My seat will most likely stay unoccupied as soon as my resale quota has been reached.

Probably true, but even when sitting back he manages to be in the way.

Whatever Marti did, seeing the note be passed around and everyone looking bamboozled was slightly amusing

That was right up there with the worst performances I have seen in my 50+ years supporting this club.  The 3-0 against Wolves was bad but that was more a one man horror show whereas this was much more of a team effort in being utter shíte.  I am struggling to think of a single positive that we can take away to hang on to.  Possibly some decent interplay between Abdul and JJ in the first half but that is about it.

Perhaps unsurprising but most of the crowd sounded like they were practising for the two minute silence on Tuesday.

I clapped them from the East stand.

It was a pretty shocking performance by some, but Fatawu, James, Vesty and a few others deserved a clap. I mostly blame the manager for the shocking performance. Neither players nor I seemed to have a clue about the formation after the subs.

Abdul was visibly upset by the chants of "you're not fit to wear the shirt". He is still very young, and that sort of reception is not likely to motivate him or encourage him to stay at the club. Indeed it wouldn't surprise me if he left in January. That won't improve the team.

I also appreciated that the players and Marti didn't go straight down the tunnel and faced the fans. It couldn't be comfortable to do so.
