Please explain to me how a team made up of Winks, Skipp, BDR, Ayew, Vestergaard, Thomas and Begovic with all that PL and European experience doesn’t know how to see out a game 1-0 up against 10 men?!

Majority of these players do not identify with the club. Bunch of mercenaries, selfish players and has-beens. Apart from a few, they don't deserve to wear this shirt.

There's no pride, no passion, no desire.

 

Buck stops with the manager, and Marti's got to go. 14 matches into the season, and I still don't know what his tactics are. Inexistent? Just play it forward and have the wingers do something.

Might as well play without "strikers", they're that bad.

Our players inability to keep the ball is embarrassing. How hard can it be to knock the ball about and kill momentum, or keep the ball in the corner. 

 

Once again it's fvcking infuriating how inept we are and can be.

Possession percentage is often a byproduct of several factors.

 

Possession football is the prioritising of possession. Which is an issue, even if it’s not the only issue.

Laughable quality game, non-league at times. Appalling game management. Some of the thickest players you’re likely to see playing at this level. 
 

Slight improvement in defense but it means **** all when you’re absolutely incapable of creating ANYTHING and relying on screamers and penos for your goals.

This City team is far and away the worst I've seen in nearly 60 years of supporting my local club . 

There seems to be a massive lack of ability to do the basics , passing, receiving, shooting , holding possession,  every aspect of the game that they are being paid big bucks to play . I've played with and against better players than most of these back in my local football days..who on earth thought it was a good idea to buy these players ...I'm just feeling numb and despair watching this shit show .

Such an ugly performance which would have only been remotely acceptable with the 3 points but to throw it away at the end against 10 men is just another sucker punch, mentality of this mob is so negative and weak. We looked like a team at the bottom of the table going to the Etihad in the hope of clinging onto something. Zero ambition or intent tonight, we barely even tried to counter attack. 

Marti looked devastated at the end, I think he knows that result after that performance probably costs him his job.
