That and taking a good hard look in the mirror.

This will be a shit defeat.

I lost a Norwich-supporting mate in September. He was 33, 18-month old daughter. For the first time in my Leicester City supporting life (I'm 43) I wouldn't even mind if we lose. That's how disconnected I feel.

Still watch every game with the resultant low mood, mind.

Oh man that's sad, sorry to hear that.

I've been at a point where I don't really care about the results for a few years now, so I definitely won't begrudge them a victory in honour of your mate.

That being said, despite results having 0 effect on me, I'm on here every day, watch every game I can and know far too much about the club lol

It's the hope that we get back to having anything better than abysmal leadership.

Just checked and they've had approximately 60% possession in every home aside from Southampton which was 49-51.

Another possession merchant getting rinsed on the counter.

If we approach the game like we did Middlesborough then they'll see 60-65% of the ball. So the front three has to be Fatawu, Daka and Mav or Monga. At least have players that can get up a bit of speed for us to pass into space, even if the end product is often honking.

I'd probably go

Begovic

Ricardo
Any of the other three
Nelson

Thomas

James
Winks

Fatawu
Monga
Mav

Daka

I think you've about nailed the team there

Yes as poor as he is it has to be Daka for this one

Bizarrely grown to like Norwich as a club over the past few years. Probably helps we have a good record against them.

On The Ball City being so old, their original ground The Nest was amazing (look it up), nice and distinct place. Always had good attendances for not a massive city.

Yes it's a pretty nice City too.

I saw a Jim Melrose hat trick here in about 1981 when we were already relegated so a special place indeed

Spent some time visiting Planet Melrose back in the day. Wonder how he is nowadays?

It's a great trend tbf. Saw one for us that said "Less King Power more Green Power" which made me laugh.

there's only one reasonable compromise here, sell the club to Greene King and turn seagrave into the worlds most expensive pub

Marti will be on the changearoo again hoping to throw a double six. Poor game until we make a stupid defensive mistake once again in the second half. They will then win every challenge, get the crowd behind them and we’ll carry no threat to turn it round.

Canary downs the Marti and shafts the Foxes! 1-0 Norwich.

Postman Pat will deliver tomorrow.

I'm afraid he now works for Evri, so we have no chance. He was made redundant by the Royal Mail. Jes is in a cattery, not allowed pets at work.

Can't believe people still calling for Daka. I'd rather my 13 year old nephew started he'd more likely score. Daka shouldn't be at the club, nevermind be starting!

2-1 to Norwich.

We'll pass it about a bit for half an hour but look complete toothless. Somewhere between the 30th minute and half time, Norwich will score with their first effort on target. Marti will make a half time sub or two. Norwich will double their lead around the hour mark after one of our defenders switches off completely. We'll score a goal with 10 minutes left and then huff and puff without threatening until FT.

Briggs has been heavily involved in training apparently this week…. Wonder if he gets a space in the squad tomorrow?

Play last night for the 23's, Aluko a noticeable absent from the 23's squad

I thought I saw Aluko in a training vid for the first team, but I'm rubbish with faces!

Everything so predictable:

- we start ok, see Norwich have no quality whatsoever and should be a banker for 3 points

- some early runs from Fatawu, but strikers aren't reading his through balls. Defenders build in confidence as his chances limit as the game goes on

- camera pans to vesty on 8 mins. Looks like he has had a shower in his kit, dripping

- Norwich take the lead on 18 minutes. Winger skips past Thomas who is daydreaming about his evening out tonight. Faes beaten on the near post

- Camera pans to the bench, Marti walking around in circles, hands on hips. Kingy clapping.
- Excitement as subs board comes out. Triple sub. Hamza for Ricardo. Skipp for James. Daka for Ayew. Sigh, we finish the game weaker.
- Great opportunity for Daka to level on 67. Slices into the home end. Plenty of cheers brings a lovely big smile from Patson.
- An own goal brings us level.

-  Soumare fails to track his man and Norwich hit us on the counter on 83.
- 4 minutes of added time and we lift the tempo as we realise running out of time. The best chance falling to winks who fires over the bar.

- Game ends and over to the happy clappers to hand out a few matchworns.

- Begovic interview saying we just need to stick together and work hard. Looking forward to head tennis in training on Monday

Norwich post match and Marti out threads go hot!

You forgot to mention Mavididi caught on camera yawning.
