Did all their goals come from the left side?

Thomas and Mavididi were anonymous and were useless. Nelson and Skipp weren’t bad and the rest dreadful.

Did the fans start leaving at 3-0?

No 2 from left and 2 from right, although Nelson had an assist for the Kone goal.

Disgraceful lacklustre performance with no effort.

Re watched the highlights, did we throw the game?

Ricky P ducking under a cross for their first, Nelson playing a cute dink into the box with Ayew and Skipp watching them score, Jakub doing his best “I tried to save it, honest” attempt for their third while nobody makes any effort to get near any player before just completely giving up for their 4th after our entire 11 watched them pass it around it for a minute.

I don't want to see Luke Thomas or the boy Nelson in the side again. They're not championship level defenders in anyone's book.Thomas can't tackle or even get a foot in and Nelson has about as much movement as a 40 year old. The Defending is truly woeful.

Thomas is wank but Nelson? He had an off day, but we've looked noticeably better when he's played, it's a good thing you aren't running the club as he's one of our biggest assets financially

Not defending Marti (he's not good enough) but most of us have been calling for the youngsters to get a run, and based on independent ratings, Nelson, Stol and Thomas had shockers, all of whom came through our academy.

We should expect some inconsistency with younger players as they get more experience, although no excuses for Thomas who's played enough games.

I hope not but for what reason?

The fact that this post match autopsy, which is following a quite diabolical performance, is only on page six, speaks for the general apathy across the fan base, and I include myself.

My weekends are no longer ruined when we lose and despite the abject awfulness of our performance yesterday and the inevitable shipping of several goals, I watched to the end quite emotionless if I'm honest.

I never felt like this during our descent to Div 3 and it is absolutely not due to any sense of entitlement after the quite glorious past 10 years, moreover its the apparent apathy and rudderless direction of the club running me and many others down.

I think fans have run out of new things to say about it.

It’s unlikely and probably an overreaction but I struggle to explain what I saw.

The reasons it could happen…

they all want out

they all want the manager out

they hate the fans

they and their friends at the club have been done over with their pay

individually, they are sick of seeing some of the performances of our players as much as the fans are.

The optics are stark, going back to his old club who he essentially thought he was better than after going after the West Brom job (being rejected for a novice coach in Ryan Mason), and getting absolutely thrashed by his replacement. Truly damaging for Marti in every respect. These first half capitulations are embarrassing and are becoming more and more common. Simply unacceptable. Lets not forget also, our one half matches where we stink the place out for one half like we did with Bristol City. What does he say to them at half time and what do they do in training as they seem totally unprepared for any time who will barrage us with attacks.

Yep, we decide a couple of weeks beforehand each time. He’s cursed.

That's incredible hahahahahahahaha

I genuinely thought you got him in because he nailed it with how well he can write up a loss.

What's the next game he's on and why is it Sheffield United?

Even though I said how “shit they are”, you have to admire QPR in acquiring a squad that has good quality and with players that want to be there. It’s a skill taking good assets in to a club that is very rarely up there or has much going for it. They must be pretty good at convincing. In a way, our arrogance for accolades and the training ground probably entice the complete wrong profile, and we go for it every time.

Jealous of QPR

Still not to fussed, whether its him or someone else. This squad has very little in terms of outstanding qualities at this level.

Living in a dream world if you think another gaffer turns Thomas into bobby Carlos.

Until we have maneuvarability in the market its gonna be a slog. Tying awful players down on long term contracts isn't going to speed that up

Really good to hear quite a lot of the team stayed in London for a night out after this embarrassment, they really live on a different planet.

And they are off until Tuesday by all accounts??

Marti show some balls, they should have been training today , just maybe working of defensive shapes etc .

I wouldn't be at all surprised if our defence was being coached to take up the positions of the players in red

seems like a fair write-up here from the other lot, with this a good nail / head summary "This is clearly a club with issues. From champions of England, FA Cup winners, Champions League football and European nights, to the absolute state of them now, the mismanagement of what was previously seen to be one of the country’s better run clubs is chronic. With talk of points deductions to come and Christmas payroll delays this might well get worse before it gets better......That’s not an environment conducive to good football, or positive results. The atmosphere and vibe around the place is all wrong, there’s a stench of death in the air, and football teams rarely come together as cohesive, effective units in those circumstances. But **** me you’d have to go a hell of a long way to see a team less than the sum of its parts than this one. Does professional pride not come into at some stage?"

100% spot on.
