Better but we are commending some things that should be a given like work rate. But chuffed that they look more confident and capable of results now :appl:

Ayew made it hard work though, nothing was sticking with him and ball was coming straight back every time, defensive unit not getting a breather. He has such a strange idea about how the game should be played.

Take nothing for granted but take this form into the Norwich game and keep building, there may be setbacks along the way and we can’t afford many but looking like getting something from your games is a good starting base.

Aribo and Ayew just not good options of the bench. Rowett and Davidson have got us so much more organised.

Okoli’s brain fade a real shame

If only we’d given Rowett a transfer window…

It was an improvement but fvck me it’s a very low bar tbh. The lack of quality in almost every aspect of our play is astonishing. Mukasa is a super talent at this level. James Jordan is needed desperately to stand any chance of avoiding relegation.

I don't see that. Thought winks and Skipp both were excellent.  A few weeks ago we would of been rolled over there.

A donkey on the ball cost us the win. Okoli is ****ing garbage with the ball, just ****ing smash it and get to HT. Shame because otherwise he played alright.

Much more organised and more of a grind tonight which we previously were incapable of doing. Play like that more often than not we'll pick up some real points

A lot more effort and organisation than has come before, but it's starting to look more and more like too little too late.

Just got to hope we keep this effort up and West Brom fail to improve their form for the remainder of the season. 🙏

Norwich, Portsmouth, and Blackburn all lost. Which is a Bonus.

Which probably comes as a bit of a surprise to them!

I think it’s pretty simple. He’s told them he’s not going to take any shit and demand the maximum from them. They’ve responded.

They certainly have. I think what's surprised me is the effort. We've looked way short of fitness all season, but in these last two games we've worked our b*llocks off right to the final whistle. Again, agree that Rowett has probably laid down his expectations, but to get them to step up given where we were is nothing short of a miracle.

If Okoli didn't make that stupid pass and got rid we would have won that.

We do look more ogranised and he has got Winks playing shame we have no goalscorer, needs James Mukasa and Fatawu all playing to stay up

In the Space of a week he’s also made Riccy available for two games a week!

Thomas, Begovic, Winks, Skipp and Daka much improved!

Mukasa still not up to 100% But shows such quality at times, The last few weeks of the season he should have more in the tank towards the end of games.

Okoli brain fart moment but also scored so cancel that out for him.

Nelson shakey for me especially first half.

BDCR decent play at times and good work off the ball.

Ayew -PANTS

People will only remember the pass that Okoli made leading to the goal. But he made some really important blocks from cut backs in the first half. And scored. It wasn't all bad.

“We should of won that” crew, Please see the fortune we had today when boro were around our goal and be grateful for the point, In the prem I argue they get a penalty for Handball at least too.

Take it for what it is, An excellent point at a team challenging for the title

We didn't fold. That's an improvement at least.

I also didn't mind seeing a few long balls either. Going over their press first half was quite effective. It's a relief to see that Rowett isn't a slave to passing football.

Looking better but need to get some key injured players back like James and  Leschelles. it would also give more options to have Aaron Ramsey and dare I say Vestergaard back. Good start from Rowett but we really need more options.

Worked hard for the point - apart from weak link Mavididi - but got to do better on those breakaways. So many tame half hearted shots at keeper rather than carving out real chances.

I’ll take the draw tonight - and am impressed with Rowett so far (so obviously a massive improvement on the Spanish fraud) - but we have to be going for wins from now on, starting on Sat v Norwich.

He was OK. That's all.

By his standards this season, that performance was prime Maldini levels. Give him credit where it's due. They targeted him relentlessly, but he stood up to the test tonight.

Our regular worst players on any given game...

Okoli

Mavadidi

Thomas

Ayew (on particular)

Hopefully you've not counted Thomas for tonight?
