Bristol were absolutely dog shite.

Really really sh1te.

We did the job.

Still very jittery at times and we know what would have happened  if that pen was scored.

Job done but still loads of room for improvement

Garry Rowet said, the plan was for 60  / 30 and it was important so save quality for the end to keep the energy going , in light of the fact that the starting line-up played well , maybe we need to concede he maybe knew what he was doing with that starting 11 ?

Good that he thought of a strategy to prevent late goals even in Rowetts time we have the Stoke equaliser and the Ipswich equaliser. It has taken other managers far longer to recognise this pattern which started probably 5 years ago.

It’s possibly down to the general lack of fitness in the squad that we are so inconsistent in games and lose focus and concentration at key moments but GR is playing the hand he’s been dealt and if that is to pick some whoppers in the starting line up and replace them later in the game then fair play

went to bed last night at half time. fully expecting a defeat, what a nice surprise. hopefully we can kick on from here, a win and a clean sheet is ****ing massive for us right now, hopefully it reminds the boys that we should never have sunk this low in the table. please dont be a false dawn

We were never going to look confident after our run of form. But we needed a bit of luck, which we got against Ipswich and yesterday, to break the habit.

He alluded to this prior to the game, but my issue was not benching Winks, Ricardo and Daka, rather Hamza and Ayew being their replacements.
You could absolutely have made a case for Fatawu, Mavididi and BDCR needing to be dropped/rested too, especially if Monga, Mukasa and Aribo were fit enough to play.

But it was good enough for the win yesterday, so can't complain too much.

It was more of a complete performance than I can recall this season. Great to get the clean sheet monkey off the backs.

As others have said, it is hard to know how much that was us and how much Bristol City were just poor/right time to play them.

However, whilst our league position has been fair based on performances, quality wise you’d still expect us to be far ahead of many sides in this league. Rowett has sorted the work ethic and attitude a lot. The rest is confidence and even just dispatching a poor opposition with ease and the clean sheet should do wonders for the confidence. If we can follow it up against QPR, we could be in for a strong end to the season.

Just listened to Rowetts interview on YouTube and the guy doing it starts it by saying “after a few wins your first win as Leicester manager” lollol

How did that get left in there haha

We look so much more like a normal football club since Rowett came in.

It's not been anything spectacular, just common sense football and organisation. The last few managers have over-complicated it.

Onto the next one. Another must win.

I assume you mean the playing side of things ?

The club as whole is a shambles.

I don’t mean to be pedantic.

Now stick them all in Vardy’s oxygen chamber thingy and don’t let ‘em out til Saturday, no training ground injuries, viruses or fall outs and we have a good chance of another win.

QPR will offer a different challenge. They are physically strong and we have struggled to cope with teams who impose themselves on us. Technically we are far better, but could easily get bullied in this one.

First game I’ve been to since Boxing Day and a few things struck me.

Firstly, anxious moaning aside (understandable), I thought the crowd was really good. The numbers are unbelievably low but those that are going are doing their best.

Secondly, it looked like 9 of our 10 outfield players had got the message last night and were running hard. Particular shout out to Mavididi who I thought was very good off the ball.

Thirdly, Jordan Ayew is the most despicable footballer I’ve seen play for us. Huge call I know but I can’t remember anyone winding me up like he does.
