We got so lucky last time. We got a youngish manager but with a back room team which was Premier League. Getting Pearson was great but Walsh and Shakespeare who were genuinely too good for that level was something else.

No idea what Pearson said to Mandaric in the interview to convince him to not go for his usual over the hill manager mustve been a masterclass.

No idea who takes us on next season but hopefully they convince the rat they will play like Man City but do it their way anyway.

Holloway and Martin Allen weren't exactly over the hill

No jobs for the boys, no old players because they know Leicester.

A competent hire based on being good at their job please.

Last thing we need is some ex Leicester mug who is just cosy with these incompetent willy pullers

Davies is exactly what they'd go for. Already a contact for them and plays drab football. It's perfect for them.

If he's got Rodgers' ego then hopefully he'd steer clear.

McCarron coming from city group that loves that style of football as well. It's gonna be some copy and paste coach that has been taught that death (usually to your own team) by possession is the only way to go.

Given that lazy Rudkin and the 'recruitment team' invariably go for the easiest option, usually someone they know or someone that's represented by one of their agent mates, it'll be someone that won't rock the boat, will not challenge the hierarchy over broken promises around budgets etc, and we'll continue to spiral into the abyss....

Best shout for me so far is Mark Robins providing Stoke lose their heads and get rid of him.

Be great if he came with Adi Viveash, too.

Robins and Viveash had a big falling out in their last year at Cov. That’s why the latter is now at Middlesbrough

On this basis it will probably be Liam Manning once Huddersfield sack him.

Horseshoe football exponent of the highest order.

And poor Alves will realise he's never gonna get a game for us.

Pearson and Shakey had several rows. I’m sure they could work together again given how successful they were.

Dennis Lawrence perhaps, too.

Ben Wilkinson is the current Man City 23’s manager…

Decent shout.

Good football family (Howard Wilkinson) and I actually like his playing career was in lower leagues rather than someone who had it comfortable at the top level.

Good coaching pedigree at Man City, good opportunity for loans and being at Man City now, hopefully he and McCarron are over the version of ‘playing like Man City’ that Aiyawatt and Rudkin are obsessed with and maybe we could evolve like they have…

Stuart Maynard (York manager).  Learning his trade and generally improves teams he is at.  Used to working with less technical players and getting a good deal more out of them.

Never gonna happen and I'm sure most fans want someone from some B team like maresca

I f we drop it will be Rowett to rebuild on the cheap

If we stay up will be brussell Martin

Rowett....only because he's the lesser of two evils.

But I sincerely hope you are wrong on both accounts.

Rowiett will just buy aging "experienced " journeymen  who we won't be able to shift on.

Martin.....just fvcking hate the cvnt nearly as much as Rodger's.  Incompetent fraud.

The defeats to Charlton, Oxford and QPR at home followed by the awful draws against PNE and Sheff Weds have sent us down.

We aren’t going to stay up.

Who manages us?

Pearson isn’t going to happen.

Rowett has gone the wrong way and proven incapable.

Skubala won’t abandon a promoted Lincoln before anyone suggests him.

King isn’t anywhere near ready.

So come on, realistically who’s taking over?

With the chuckle brothers obsession of playing the Pep way .... anyone who fits that bill .... which will then be another short term disaster.... as the track record shows .. the club must have coughed up a fortune in compensation to clueless managers ... what's more concerning is how gullible the chuckles are

Chris Davies would be grim. Rodgers yes man assistant. Got promoted from L1 with Birmingham through signing players for obscene fees not seen at that level (mainly Stansfield).

Now being found out at Championship level.

Would be a crap appointment and would continue to see us deteriorate. But it would be absolutely lazy and expected recruitment from Aiyawatt and Rudkin.

Let’s not kid ourselves that McCarron will actually be other than a puppet to deflect attention from the clowns above.

Sounds perfect for us.
