Will 3 wins save us? Would 2 wins and a 2 draws save us?

What do we need, if we have no hope what is the point? Positive replies welcome, sarcasm not tolerated.

We are not down until the R is by out name. I belive if we beat pompey we could take this to the last day, get within 3 of rovers and I would take that going into the last game knowing a win would leapfrog them, and hopefully another.

We couldn't beat bottom of the table Sheffield wednesday, who are on their knees. Even after all the teams around us dropped points and a win would take us out of the relegation zone. Not even that was enough to motivate this squad. Why would you expect us to win ANY of our remaining games?

Have you watched any minutes of us, at all, this season?

It would appear neither is realism.

We've beat Bristol City and West Brom in the league this year, 3 and a half months. Now we need to win 3 games in the next 2/3 weeks? Not impossible but in reality, not happening with what we've saw on the pitch from these cowards.

Blackburn and pompey away would be 2 you would pick, and the pressure on blackburn would be immense. Hull will be the tough game as pressure growing, millwall will want to avoid suspensions and bans, and we play before everyone, if we can beat pompey and millwall you never know i guess. I have watched and we have been poor, Thomas header cost us 2 points against stoke. Dakas headed another 2 points. Pompey aren't great at home I think with James back for final 4 we can win 2 games at least.

Don't do it to yourself. It's the hope....

Neither could top-of-the-table Cov, to be fair.

Fairy Tales can come true it could happen to you but I can't see it happening to KPFC.

Saying “sarcasm not tolerated” on a platform where many of us have honed our sarcastic craft over the years is quite something lol

Why would the pressure on Blackburn be immense? They are 4 points above the relegation zone with 4 games to go.  Oxford will struggle to rack up 4 points alone in those 4 games, let alone 4 more than blackburn. They will be safe on the final day.

Blackburn are all but guaranteed as safe, the only teams in a relegation battle are Oxford, Portsmouth and West Brom.

We're a pretty safe lock in for league one next season at this point.

Fratton Park - a stadium where the pitch is close to the stands. The ringing of bells. Quite a vocal fanbase.

There is no way this lot withstand that stadium in what could be (if Pompey dont beat Ipswich) a high pressured game. They'll collapse. Remember most of these have collapsed multiple times previously. We have brought bloody Vestegaard back into the team hoping to sure up. Vestegaard, the guy who was very much part of the collapses v Wolves and Everton last year.

There is no chance. Sorry, positive replies only.

No chance but smiley face.

Fratton Park will be rocking on Saturday and the Leicester players won't be able to hack it.

I could see it being another QPR away type performance.

We don’t have one player with the strength of mind to go and put in a performance at Pompey.
Not in a relegation battle, not ever.

This group is made up of entitled, overpaid, arrogant arseholes who think they are too good for the division.

None of them will care about relegation when they **** off somewhere else in the summer.

There is absolutely no chance on this planet or in this universe that we ‘get 3 points’ at Fratton Park. You’ve got more chance of Vichai suddenly appearing in the stands.

Forget about this season. It’s done.

We need to win all 4 games, you have to think the other teams will win 2 of their 4 games left. It’s a very, very tall order.

Nothing wrong with having a bit of hope.    If you don't have a bit of hope that the world might get better, then we really are all doomed.   But back to the specific case in hand  .......

We're going to have to start doing something, that we've not really done all season (and certainly not since the New Year) ie collectively grow some balls and play well.

Not impossible, but not looking very likely either (and I'm a natural optimist).      A lucky, undeserved win at Portsmouth could just light the spark.  But .................

We only win games when we score one or two screamers and they've stopped going in. We can't keep a clean sheet.

Taking your post in the spirit intended and looking at all the remaining fixtures....

- I think 3 wins probably would save us & almost certainly would if 2 of the wins were v. Pompey & Blackburn

- I think 2 wins and 2 draws might or might not save us - again, a better chance if the wins were v. Pompey & Blackburn

I just had a look at the home and away records of all teams....

- Fair point that neither Pompey nor Blackburn have good home records (rank 22nd & 23rd, respectively)

- The bad news is that, for away record, Hull and Millwall rank 4th and 1st!

All considered, I think we're currently 95% relegated. If we lose at Pompey, it's 99.9%. If we draw, it's 98%. If we win, it's 65%.

Can't see it happening, sadly. Please prove us wrong, LCFC - just find 1 gutsy (or lucky) performance somehow, to keep hope alive and maybe restore some belief - and nerves among rivals. :fc:

Nah, I can't see it happening...:nono:

We’ll be lucky to get 1.
