This is a massive opportunity for Graham Potter to resurrect his career.

Tunisia will compact the block, 1-0. Potter sacked and a job at the FA awaits doing some bullshit coach education

Japan are 13/5 to beat the Netherlands on Sunday. Tempted.

Best Asian team of all time potentially? They look very good. Such a shame that Mitoma is out injured, could have gone pretty deep in the tournament. Maybe they still will…

I.e. surpassing South Korea's semi-final in 2002? I mean, that tournament obviously had many questionable/blatantly wrong decisions go in their favour, but I feel that's a big ask from Japan. I haven't looked at the draw, but getting out of the group will not be easy either. If Sweden find some mojo, they will be a threat. Tunisia are notoriously hard to beat too.

I just mean they are just a better side than that South Korea team who were very… fortunate… shall we say, to make it as far as they did. With Mitoma I could see them going last 8, who knows, maybe beyond. They are tactically very good for an international side, their games should be good watches.
