We at least looked to attack by driving quickly from deep, in contrast to Oxford where it was walking football with our worst player and passer taking centre stage and controlling the games tempo. This makes me think that the players ignored his tactics in the Plymouth game. 1

Easier to drive from deep and turn Oxford stayed deeper blocked off the two centre backs passing lanes to Page and Braybrooke. Therefore the defence get baited into coming too high up the pitch. That leaves 50 yards of space behind your back four, the full backs way out of position getting frustrated in an attacking sense and Oxford can score four goals on the counter attack 3

Fox92 Posted 7 September Posted 7 September Not sure why people think a (heavy) loss at Stockport will see him gone. When have this ownership ever sacked a manager at the right time? I can't see him getting sacked but even if it was to happen it will probably be after the International break. 2
