The 3-2-4-1 is all well and good when you’ve got the ball and you’re looking to build up attacks but it’s very easy to play through. Runners behind either side of Dias have killed Man City. Neither Anderson or Kovacic have tracked runners either.

For the the inverted fullback is over. It’s too easy to play against.

Arsenal look very sharp but it be long until Arteta gets fed up of Guimaraes’ lack of ability though. Lewis Shelly will soon be in this team ahead of him alongside Rice.

Man City's dominance is so obviously over.... just like Utd's did when Fergi left

1 dimensional Maresca wil only keep them in the top 8 at most this season.

Fvck off Noel Galllagher ... t0sser, your reign is over. Stone Roses wannabe

Thought Donnarumma was supposed to be one of the best goalies in the world, if not the best a few years ago. Fallen off quite far on that showing.

They were insane getting rid of Ederson and even more crazy to let young Trafford go, I’d love to know the strategy. They’ll concede a lot of goals this season passing out from the back

Honestly I think their decision to sell Trafford will cost them millions.

He's a fantastic keeper and is already showing it at Leeds.

It’s going to be great seeing Enzo fail and bore Man City fans to tears

I didn’t mind Enzo(I didn’t necessarily enjoy his football) but it’ll be great seeing another nail in the coffin for the least pragmatic and exciting style of football and fundamentally more misery for Man City as a club.

Ipswich signing Enciso for 30m apparently.

Certainly seem to be getting the cheque book out or probably bank card these days !

not to mention the other lad they got at the same time for £20+mil

now they are after a midfielder from Bayer Leverkusen(theyve had a £15mil bid rejected)

all the new signings coming in and i can imagine theyll be on a pretty penny too, if they go down....they could be in a right mess

If Everton don't get off to a good start could you see Moyes being given an early exit, with Eddie Howe being available just makes me think that would be an Everton sort of an appointment.

You'd hope this well help with accountability and make people a little more understanding of ref's decisions.

That said, you can just imagine Carragher, Neville and the like ripping into refs part way through the season on their weekend analysis.

He seems rather pissed off with their recruitment so far too.
