You just know if we play Argentina in the semi we'll get screwed over by the officials on the field or VAR. We never get any luck in big games against the top sides.

The real story is usually sheer incompetence, which is what will be the case here. 
 

The shirt pull for the Argentina goal that was allowed and Egypt goal that was disallowed look extremely similar… I can see why the Egyptian staff are fuming

Goal disallowed  for Egypt cos a trip earlier in the play.

 

Shirt pull for Argies INSIDE the penalty area AND Salah tripped not looked at resulting in a winning goal.

 

Nothing to see here...carry on infantile....

 

 

Argies will win this WC

I don’t see why England should fear this Argentina side. Very real chance they get knocked out by Colombia, still just quietly dark horsing their way through top of their group over Portugal…
