I lose literally all excitement when I see Switzerland are playing a game.

Other than fighting with Serbs, have they ever done anything noticeable at a major tournament? They might be the most boring team in world football history.

Manzambi is a fun watch, their best player in years by the looks of it

They were the only side to beat Spain when they became champions. They knocked out France in Euro 2020 and took Spain to penos a round later.

Just a classic tough-to-beat sub-top side

Besides, few international sides are particularly exciting as a neutral.

I reckon I have more experience being neutral at world cup than 90% of this forum and I can't agree with that.

Switzerland vs Colombia does feel like the dullest game of the tournament.

Watch it be 4-3 now.

I'd made peace with them being a dull but effective team so decided to put money on a few angles of them absolutely ragging Qatar who were in my head probably the worst team of the 48.

Obviously they draw 1-1.

Then of course proceed to be exactly what I imagined anyway, but without managing to profit. They're bloody annoying.

They have somehow kept Granit Xhaka under 35 which feels like some kind of sorcery.  I am sure he has been playing for about 30 years.

Thursday 9th July 21:00 - France Vs Morocco

Friday 10th July 20:00 - Spain Vs Belgium

Saturday 11th July 22:00 - Norway Vs England

Sunday 12th July 02:00 - Argentina Vs Switzerland

6 x teams left from UEFA

1 x team left from CAF

1 team left from CONMEBOL

Almost proves the point that the Euros is more difficult to win lol

Heading for an Argentina vs France final isn't it...

Won't be a bad thing if they can serve up the same entertainment as 2022.

Think the Argies arent that good.. but given our relative positions on the tipping table... i bow to your knowledge :

I used to say we were yelling 'you're just a fat Granit Xhaka' at Wayne Rooney, and that feels like the before times at this point.

Doesn't help that Wayne actually looks like a Grandad at this point either, I guess.

As a fellow viking, I obviously have my sympathies with Norway, but if consolation prize is a Argentina-England semi, I can live with that.

England will marmelize that Argentinian team if they end up meeting in the semi final, I’m certain of it.

I think it’ll be close, but what gives you that confidence ?

As a jock, all my life I’ve dismissed Englands chances of winning a tournament, but not this time.

There just seems something different and I can’t put my finger on it.

I remember when they took it to the Dutch in euro 96 and blew them away and can see a proper statement win like that happening against a pretty average Argentina.

If England play for 90 how they played 2nd half against Croatia I think it’ll end up 4-1
