This is Mccaron, Richards was never going to make it to the level we wanted. I've never seen us so active in getting rid of players outside of the obvious ones. We have 10+ years of evidence showing how Rudkin operates and its not like this.

 

Will wait to see where the squad ends up in a few weeks, but encouraging start.

Turns out there was interest all along, it's just for whatever inexplicable reason Rudkin didn't move them on. Probably types with his two index fingers and doesn't know how to open a pdf

I suspect in previous years we had an arrogance that we could carry the wage due to us being a "big club".... turns out in League One, that really isn't the case.   The move to action must surely be about trimming as much cost as possible out of the business.

It is "alleged " that he did go AWOL last season but there seems something seriously wrong that we spend 5M on him and he cant even get in the pre season 22 man squad

If its terminated contract, i almost feel that transfer needs investigating. We all understand it was a fiddle, but was any due dilligence done at all on the player chosen?
