There is nowhere to go with him. Being a slower player isn't a problem if you can deliver but he cannot. Their left back went from being run ragged by Alves to blocking every cross from Burns.

Some drop off, should be nowhere near the squad.

 

It was a depressing sight at half time watching Burns, Chaplin, BDCR and Cullen warming up knowing that these were the options off the bench and probably dwarf the wages of 90% of clubs at this level, but they are utter dog shit.

 

Operate final roll of the dice looks like it’s gone badly wrong.

Every negative comment back was her talking about money. Probably shows where both their are heads are at with this move. 
 

A year here then paid up for the next 2 of his contract. Bet he couldn’t believe his luck when we approached him.

Such bad business and surely not scouted or analysed. Anyone who watched Chaplin at Pompey last year knew he was done. And  Burns turns 32 in a few weeks - can’t be many clubs generous and stupid enough to hand out a 3 year deal for a winger who was nearly 32 on signing 😂

But he attacks, and creates. Burns is as fast as a dead snail.

Going off slightly on a tangent here but people can take pleasure in Fofana's downfall or look back at Mahrez as a mercenary (and I have met Leicester fans that would probably be described as 'happy clappers' on here who dislike him) but I now find it almost impossible to conjure up even a modicum of ill feeling towards players who have contributed to us winning trophies and playing entertaining football when I am now subjected to watching the likes of Wes Burns turn out for us. I think subconsciously I thought we would never see players like that in our shirt again. But here we are.

Yeah, but Brussel is god so you gotta do what you are told. You are better off being sh1t but following orders than showing promise and not doing what you are told.
