earlier comments of small and weak were exactly what I felt about much of the 11 playing. Okoli and Joseph aside we got muscled off the ball repeatedly. I can't repeat what I thought of souttar's performance

Alves and Brayebrook gave a very good account of themselves. Really impressed with Braybrook actually, frequently getting stuck in and winning battles. Again, not the case with the more senior players....

One thing he did do, which I’ve not seen in a loooong while, is when he laid it off to Watson he bust a gut to sprint into the box. Nice to see!

So excited to see him next week against Burton! 

Another week of training, another week of fitness 

 

I really hope he stays high and allows Braybrooke, Alves, Chaplin ( Hopefully) to play in the spaces he’ll vacate 

Bobby was too deep yesterday and he completely cramped spaces

I thought the same. BDCR actually had three chances. Bristric would definitely (or any half decent actual striker) scored at least one of them

Thats the issue, and what worries me about Martin(not just that). Keeps going on about Bobby being a striker the last time he was in league 1??

He's talking shite, he's had one good season in his career and that was in the Championship. Last time in league one was the norm for old bob

And he wasn't even an out an out striker in his big goal scoring season.  Absolute rubbish as @lcfcsnow states.

 

If we really are not looking at purchasing another genuine striker (I can't believe we're not) then unless Bristric is an absolute baller, who also never gets injured or suspended, we are gonna struggle to score the goals we need.

I wrote Vardy off after a few games so im going to do the same here and hope he can be half as good as JV.

I felt he was ok. Certainly better than BDR. He certainly had better physicality than Caranza, so i dont think that will be his issue. It will take a little time.

 

Certainly didnt look tired when he went off, and would rather he had 1- minutes with the new wingers.
