Is that your guess or a bit of inside knowledge? I like the look of it though

I actually feel quite sad to be missing today. My youngest and her dad are using my season ticket as I’m taking the eldest to the Etihad today as she needs it for the 92. She always wants to see them beat Coventry…..I feel like a fraud.

From the press conference Lundstram sounds most behind so likely make the bench at best.

Riis I think we get some minutes ethier start and get 60 or come on of the bench later on.

O'Hora is the interesting one, I suspect him come straight in and Martin could well piss everyone off by moving Thomas back to left back.

I not sure he going to play BCDR in 3 games in a week so could be a change there.

No way I'd be starting Bristric over Riis.

Bring Bristric on once we have got the goals, not when we need them.

He needs the minutes to adapt to English football, but less pressure if you're coming on 2-0 up etc.

When you don't start

Had this in my head since Tuesday night 😂

That would be an interesting measure of Martin. We all know that Macfarlane looks the business; strong, passionate, not afraid to go forward. No way should he be dropped. If he is, and Thomas plays there, it's a real worry. One of those where how come everyone can see it except the manager.

I think this will quickly be the scenario but not sure if today he will give him one last start as Riis gets up to speed with things. Need a big performance from the lad.

He really does need a big performance.

I understand hes adapting etc but a first touch is the same anywhere in the world, and the goal is in the same place all over the world.

Has he had a shot yet?

Thomas is good for the bench as he can cover 2 postions now. no way should he start if Mcfarne and OHara are fit

I expect an unchanged team today, especially considering we don’t have a midweek game.

Thomas

McFarlane

Page

Howell

Braybrooke

BDCR

Alves

Bristric

Subs:

Ravizzoli

Riis

Whilst im normally of the sentiment that we shouldn’t drop players who have played well, I can’t help but think that at the end of the day Luke Thomas is Luke Thomas. Need to start embedding in O hara/Kanga

I wouldn't be surprised to see regular changes in the winger positions.

I've got a feeling we may use different wingers away from home

I think Burns and Watson will be used more away from home or when we are expected to have to defend more.

Riis had a knock in pre-season so I think he is going to take a while to play a lot of minutes.

Bistrić for me has always been a long-term project, like Kangasniemi they are investments for our future, anything they contribute this season is a bonus.

Bistrić should benefit from having a senior pro like Riis around.

Interestingly we have gone for two CFs who are 6' 2" and 6' 3", not what I expected from RM.

I think it could really help Alves' numbers having Riis in the side as he loves to bend in right-footed crosses.

I'm also seeing Doyle as a long-term piece; as I haven't seen any sign of an extension from Brighton, I think a deal is in place for the loan to become permanent.

If we can get extensions in place for Nelson and Braybrooke, I think we are in a good place having a young nucleus in place.

We just need the new and existing senior squad members to play their bit in helping nurture them.

A shot on target? Didn't he put one over the bar at Milton Keynes, like most others did?

Show me all the chances we've created for him. Shouldn't take long.

I get the point but think he has had one decent chance every game and bundled them all - that one Tuesday when he tried to control it instead of taking first time 8 yards out in centre of goal and it hit his knee or shin kind of sums up the start he has had - that being said I think he will be ok
