too much whoop-whoop?

Looks like the hunger games meets star wars. If i was visually impaired or a bit pissed i'd think it was another hunger games film.

19/100- Mad Max 3 6/10  I enjoyed the start but I thought it tailed off badly when Max met these kids and the ending was bit rushed. Overall I thought the trilogy was bit over-rated.

20/100- Batman vs Superman 6/10  Well, I thought it was not fantastic but I would argue it also does not sucks completely as some critics were making out. I liked Ben Affleck as Batman (I thought they portrayed him bit too violent and not intellectual and analytic as I have hoped)  but Cavill and Superman character just grate on me- I do not read comics and only watched Smallville but I have always thought Superman was bit more idealistic. I really liked Eisenberg's portrayal of Lex.  The ending for both major battles were shambles and I thought The Avengers (I have only watched first one)'s major battle was miles better because they all worked in tandem so much better compared to Batman,Superman and Wonder Woman.  DC have some serious catching up to do.

Déjà Vu with Denzel Washington: 6/10. Mostly entertaining and suspenseful, but the special effects as well as some of the car crash scenes were rather over the top and not so believable.

It's another of many Denzel Washington vessels, with the other actors having little to say or little impact on the overall storyline. The antagonist is again painted in quite a simplistic way.

Stupid film on BBC One now. Roy Smyder Hot Chick. A college cheerleader swaps bodies with a man (Roy Snyder). He seems to be in more than the girl. It's a bit mad. Not entirely funny though.

Best part was when he went in the gents and the cubicle was occupied and he/she tried to use the urinals and sprayed  everywhere.

Rumours of "The Wolf of Wall Street" having been financed by a Malaysian state funds originally intended to boost the local economy:

http://www.theguardian.com/film/2016/apr/02/wolf-of-wall-street-malaysian-money-trail-fbi-investigation

You just couldn't make it up - what a fitting story for a movie about new economy scoundrels in the 80ies and 90ies.

These snippets are particularly entertaining:

Three months after shooting on The Wolf of Wall Street began, the Journal reported, Red Granite gave a birthday gift to DiCaprio: the Oscar statuette given to Marlon Brando for best actor in On the Waterfront, which cost aroundabout $600,000.
On New Year’s Eve 2012, revellers celebrated the arrival of 2013 in Australia and then flew to Las Vegas on a rented jetliner in time to celebrate it again. The party was reported to have included the two Malaysians, Aziz and Low, DiCaprio and Wolf of Wall Street co-star Jonah Hill, and the actor and singer Jamie Foxx.
Six months after the movie’s release, DiCaprio, Aziz and Low attended the World Cup in Brazil and spent time on a Saudi-owned, 482ft yacht.

I wonder if its going to be called Porno like the book was.

It is based on Porno, some of the scenes will be 'challenging' to film.

different...as superhero movies go.

I was never really a fantasy comic reader when I was a kid so I know absolutely nothing about Dr Strange. It does seem to have an ensemble of great British actors though.
