Watched Searching - thriller starring John Cho who is trying to find his missing daughter. Quite unique as it’s told exclusively through a laptop screen - the plot is moved forward through emails, text messages, video calls, social media, search engines and family photos/videos etc. Really enjoyed it.

Awesome animated movie for any fan of Spiderman, the art and attention to detail, mostly XD, are quite something.

Nice clip but with spoilers btw.

This really does not look very good to me,

That part right there with the truck looked decent enough.  The rest looked like a Genysis rehash/Sarah Connor Chronicles TV show rather than a movie.  30 years on though and the CGI still doesn't look as good as it did in T2.  T2 is truly one of, if not, the greatest action movies ever made.  It is perfect in every way, a masterpiece.

I will go and see it - it's on my cinema list for this year for sure, hopefully it won't be as disappointing as the last one.

The Terminator was quality but T2, I watched it 3 or 4 times on the cinema when it released, alongside Aliens, which I also went to see at the old Odeon a couple of times, they are the kind of movies you really have to see on the silver screen, terrific entertainment.

True.

All those extras in those alien suits and they still look more realistic than the CGI alien from that Prometheus sequel.

What's happened to the proposed Alien film that Biehn was supposed to be in?

Dead in the water, Fox going with the Prometheus trilogy and not really going for a sequel to Aliens, from what I've read anyways.

I love Stallone but sometimes I wish he'd just let it lie.

I do wonder what his motivation is to keep churning out these sequels and I can't imagine it's for the money.

That said, I'll probably still watch it :D

Robert Pattison is the new Batman :nono:

A very underrated actor. Could have rested on his laurels after the success of the Twilight films starring in any old shite but instead has taken the route of honing his craft in a series of at times very left field and obscure films. I actually think he'll bring something positive to the role.

Just got home after taking the kids to watch Secret Life of Pets 2. Fell sleep for about 10/15 minutes I think. Luckily the Mrs was also there to keep an eye on them.
