How did it go?

 

Didn't get to follow it online because of the football and the pathetic bbc sport website must be down as it stopped updating our total once we reached 80

Think it must have been a 20 over game for them with them getting the runs with an over to spare. Another shameful performance

We started off alright against Northants. Until Ben Curran and Keogh came in, latter got a ton.

 

Then conceded 56 off the last 5 overs :unsure:.

Batting is very poor let's be honest. Bowling is not brilliant but competative. 

 

Hopefully give this Scottish lad a bit longer. Looks like a cat in a hot tin roof, if he can settle then I think we might see the best of him. 

 

Still think there is time to build an innings in 50 over cricket, Asad could give a bit of stability. Bat round him May be?

Absolute class innings from Taylor a lot of our senior batsmen can learn how to construct an innings from him, so unlucky not to get his ton. No loose shots hit it went it was there to hit, hopefully not the next player to be sniped up by the bigger counties. Not sure if we are going to defend 340 there spinners played well, over to you Parkinson COYF.

So two four day games is all we have in the rest of May, so no one is going to feel too exhausted. What’s our best 4 day team?

 

Definites:

Horton given he is captain 

Ackermann

Dearden

Hill

Taylor

Wright

Abbas

 

then pick 4 from the maybes.3 batters and 1 bowler

 

Maybes:

Azad

Javed

Cosgrove

Dexter

Parkinson

Griffiths

Davis

 

 

i think my additional 4 would be Azad, Cosgrove, Dexter and Parkinson
