Really fantastic win, especially it seemed the chance had gone and great show from the bowling unit getting 20 wickets. I know they had players missing but it presents us with a real opportunity to win a few games against counties that have England absentees.

One of our best 4 day wins in a long time. A really long hard slog to get the 20 wickets something like 215 overs, 2 full days and over a full session. Really impressive to chase down a 320 1st innings total and then restrict the opposition score to less than 2.5 runs an over with attacking fields is some effort. Both teams struggled to score at around 3 runs an over so to go at 10's for the last 15 is very impressive considering the inexperience in the side with a lot of responsibility on Ackermans shoulders. Really pleased for the club and players

County have signed James Weighell on loan from Durham until the end of the season, so available for the Blast. He's being let go by Durham at the end of the season. Have to see how he goes, been injured a bit the last two years, but a useful cricketer

Divine irony that Lancs didn’t want to play in Leicester but now find Notts questioning if they should play at Old Trafford

He's the guy who took 7 wickets when we lost to Durham after we made them follow on.Cant remember if it was last year or in 2018.Could be a useful signing
